We should be able to have a serious debate over who would make the best president during the primaries and THEN be able to unite in support of whoever wins the nomination. Why is this so hard?

Yes, yes, you're ALL right. The primaries mean sweet fuck-all, the DNC is pushing Biden on us whether we want him or not, some people vote based on bigotry and misogyny. The whole system is fucking corrupted by money... it's very complicated and bla bla bla. It's ALL true. We all know it. Fucking vote anyway. And vote for who you think should be president. I consider it your civic duty. This whole backlash against Biden scares me, though, to be perfectly honest. If the DNC puts him on the ticket and everybody thinks he's a creep (which, lets face it, he is), then that puts Trump in line to win ANOTHER fucking term. Fucking 2016 all over again. "I didn't like Trump but I just couldn't vote for (HRC) Biden." Sound familiar?

In response to a confession. It's like how SHS is trying to guilt the women's movement into feeling bad for her. Uh, NO. Ain't nothing sexist happening to you, you're a liar for hire and got paid well for it. Society doesn't like male grifters either.

Stole this from Facebook: "Feminism is not blindly supporting any woman regardless of character just because she's a woman. I can see where the confusion is though because misogyny is blindly OPPOSING any woman regardless of character just because she's a woman."

In response to a confession. The primaries mean sweet fuck all. We'll be given who we're given and if I don't like who we're given (Biden, duh), I'm voting for Warren. Hate me all you want.

In response to a confession. While I agree with everything you said, and vote in EVERY primary and election, the primaries are f-ed up too. The DNC preferred Clinton over Sanders in 2016, and provided her campaign with power over the committee in exchange for financial support. So, yeah, basically your primary vote doesn't matter easy. The whole system is completely corrupt. I'll still vote, and so should everyone else, because it's the only power we have. But it's still messed up. Whoever the DNC wants on the ticket is going to be who's on it. And that's Biden.

In response to a confession. The problem is that the DNC knows that a Barbie covered in dog shit would make a better president than Trump and they're obviously shoving who they want down our throats. Tell me, how well did that work the last time, in 2016? THAT is how we got Trump. Anyone with an ounce of critical thinking skills can see that it's sketchy, having Biden in the race. He's the DNC golden boy and they'll put him through as their candidate no matter who wins the primary, just like they did the last time. This is such a complex issue and going off on people because they don't like the idiot men running is dense. Do better.

In response to a confession. People voted for HRC and it didn't matter. People voted for Bernie during the primaries and he whooped HRC, yet people's votes didn't matter and HRC won the nomination. This is why people don't vote and it's why I will be voting for whoever the fuck I want.

In response to a confession. She did win the popular vote, and that didn't matter. The electoral college still elected him. And yes, all those things you mentioned were factors. So was the whole concept of voting based on emotion and ideals. I know there are people who voted for Trump because they hated Hillary just that much. And I'm sure there are people who voted for Trump just because Hillary didn't have a friggin peen. My point is to vote for the best candidate. Regardless of gender. And PLEASE also vote in the primaries. They're SO important! Hey, man, I don't want to vote for Biden either. I really don't disagree with you about him. That's why my ass will be voting in the primaries and telling EVERYBODY I know to do the same.

In response to a confession. I'm not the op to whom you're responding, but I also have zero plans to vote for ANY of the male candidates that are currently running. They're mediocre, at best, and Biden is a problematic ass-hat with a history of racism and misogyny. Harris and Warren aren't perfect but they're light-years away from the guys. I'm extremely suspicious of the DNC and establishment Democrats. To me, they're no better than Trump and it's insane to me that people truly believe that they're better. They're telling me to vote for Uncle Joe? Yeah, hard pass on the lot of them.
