I just read something (on FB-here's the grain of salt you will need) that said 13% of Americans believe Canadians live in igloos. I don't believe that!!

Do you feel good about yourself? Are you going to make fun of starving orphans next? You realize you are punching down, right?

Trans are people too, who have rights. If a MtF trans needs to use the restroom, let her use the womens restroom...because she is a woman. It's not her fault she was born in the wrong body. You have the option to not use public restrooms, no one is holding a gun to your head telling you that you have to use a public bathroom. If you have to go...then find other means of getting the job done. Before you say "But why should I have to find other means, I have rights too whinewhinewhine"...If you're the one with the sensitivity problem, then you need to be the one to find other means.

Where are the statistics and proof that a transperson is at greater risk than a normal person in a public rest room? I haven't seen any. Are there actually studies?

If a man of a different skin color rapes a woman and from then on she has anxiety when she sees a man of said skin color...does that make her racist? I don't think so because anxiety isn't controlled like that, it just is.

Ugh. Why can't people accept that most situations are not black or white. There's most always s gray area, "send other people to be raped"? That is just ridiculous. Yes, someone who has a fear of being sexually assaulted is completely selfish and wishes for transgendered people to get raped. Changing genders is a choice. To say otherwise is absurd, because it is something a person has to decide to go through with. It's their right to do so, but SHOULD everyone else cater to it? It's not that simple. It seems like people are on one side or the other. No one is like "Oh, I see your point."

So you were raped, therefore you want other women to be forced into situations where they are at a much higher risk of sexual assault? You think your experience as a rape survivor gives you the right to send other people to be raped? Stop trying to speak as a survivor. That's not my experience, that's not the experience of the other survivors who have posted. Stop making it about that, you're clearly just delusional.

A transperson entering the wrong bathroom risks assault, rape, even murder, at a rate higher than for a gender normative person. If that transperson is black the risk is higher still. That's not "cautious" either. It's so selfish that you don't even stop to consider what they should be cautious of.
