Re: marathon runner with no tampon. I though that was pretty dumb. I get her cause, but subjecting others to her bodily fluids does not help woe. And gis in countries with ridiculous cultural taboos. I think supporting a charity that sends supplies would be good, but all this woman did was attention whore. Period shame? I don't feel any shame because I choose not to listen to moronic things like that.

So Kiran Gandhi, the woman who run the marathon without putting a tampon in. I think what she did was pretty awesome.

I'm just saying, if the disabled elderly population can come out and vote, even when relying on taxis and helpers (many people are unaware that you can have assistance to vote. A member of each party will join you and assist with the physical voting, though they cannot give help on who or what to vote for), I just don't have sympathy for those who say it's too hard to vote. Plus, again, mail in ballots.

I don't believe that working adults are too busy to vote. Almost every state has mail in ballots that you can submit whenever you can, prior to the election, and if you miss the mail-in date you can drop it off at the polling place nearest you. Plus, the polls are open from 6AM to 7PM, at least where I am. I think the issue is disinterest rather than a lack of time. But of course the majority of non-voters still express their disappointment in the results, that they could have influenced.

I have a friend who's husband is an Army Ranger. She believes women shouldn't be allowed to become Rangers. I don't really have an opinion either way but her reasoning why just blew me away. She said the guys are gone for long periods of time in the field and a woman with a bunch of guys is bound to try to sleep with any or all of them. I mentioned to her just because she is a woman among men doesn't mean she is a homewrecker trying to sleep with everyone's husband. Her reason after that was the men are away from their wives for long periods and she will probably get raped. First, if you think you husband and his buddies will rape a woman just because they haven't seen their wives and a woman is near then that is a bigger problem and they don't deserve to be called Rangers. She also said her husband's Ranger tab now means nothing if women are allowed to get it. I'm sorry I thought we were in 2015 not 1915.Not long ago women weren't allowed to vote, drive, become doctors look at us now

I'm not sure who I'll be voting for in 2016- I'd like a full list of the actual candidates so I can do my research, like I do every election. I'll probably work the polls during the election too- I did last year for the midterm election and although it was a 15 hour day and I got paid $115 (below minimum wage), I had fun. It was very interesting to see who comes out to vote. Disappointing in the results too- I'd say maybe 1% were brand new 18 year olds who were so excited to be voting, 95% were elderly (and a good chunk of those needed assistance to get there and vote) and the rest were 20-50 year olds. So 4%. We had a total of 200 people come in and vote and I was hoping that was due to the success of mail-in ballots, but when election results came it was very obvious that 100% of voters did not vote. And that doesn't include adults who are not registered. I don't care who/what you vote for or why, just as long as you make an informed decision and get out there and vote.

Ugh. I am so sick of this Ashley Madison do people even know that they are responding to the same person? It's like arguing with a wall. I'm off for a few weeks, I hope when I'm back this topic has finally died it's death!
