How does that kool-aid taste? You're not a future millionaire, you're just another wage-slave like the rest of us. It's sad that so many people have been brainwashed not to see how the system is rigged against the lower and middle class.

I find income inequality inspiring because I know I can make it just like anyone else did even though I didn't inherit money. But then, I've got brains and also work to preserve my health. Because I want to lift myself up. It's not anyone else's job to do that.

Honestly, I don't care if you're against income inequality and climate change and gratuitous war because God told you or because logic and science dictate or because you believe you were given the truth by a purple flying hippopotamus. It's just objectively important for the world, and I don't care who you are so long as you realize this.

Separate from religion, I think the Pope is a good man. And it's neat to see how loved he is.

If Jesus was the son of God, you'd think God would have given him social media. Jesus: "OMG! Help!"

I'm not Catholic so I basically see the Pope as just another guy with a really good scam.

When the Pope and the Vatican use even a fraction of their overwhelming amount of wealth to lift the poor out of poverty, maybe then they can make suggestions as to what the rest of the world should be contributing.

Soooo....the pope's message is to equalize income so there won't be as many poor. Or we can give money to the poor on our own, but either way there will still be The Poor. Because other people will always find a way to enrich themselves off The Poor. Unless the gov't regulates the process, taking from the rich before they can give to The Poor. And the gov't can then give to The Poor, but not before the people in charge of the gov't enrich themselves. We had a war on poverty started by Lyndon Johnson. It didn't work because it started a new class of The Professional Poor....those who figured out a way to live off the system forever.

Why are people so devoted to the scripture? Like a bunch of ancient parables and stories are somehow related to life today? There's really only one thing we need to do and that is treat others the way we'd like to be treated. All the rest is just fluff. If Jesus can't text and tweet, he's kinda out of touch. Text me, Jesus, to let me know you're real!!!! (but don't drive while you're doing it and don't turn the water in your plastic bottle to wine until you get off the road)
