Single men (and women) are on Ashley Madison because they want to find hook-ups with no strings attached. If they hook up with married wo/men, they don't have to worry about dealing with all the BS that come with relationships. Anyone who thinks single folks were on there to find meaningful, long-term relationships are really naive.

The shooter who gunned down the journalists in Virginia? Pure coward.

MRAs are so funny. Was having a discussion with one online regarding fat shaming and his immediate response was "bet you're a fat bitch TBH". When I responded that I weigh 100lb soaking wet it was, "why would I listen to a bitch who has the body of a 12 year old boy". Lol can't win, can we?

Two things that stick in my mind about the Ashley Madison scandal, which are different than most people's thoughts. One, if people really are stupid enough to post something online and believe it will never be able to be public, that's their fault. Two, if single people and looking for other singles and they choose to do that on the Ashley Madison website out of all the options, that's their fault too.

Wow, ok, I don't think you were on anyone's mind. You certainly weren't on my mind when I posted below you. Ok, you were single. No one said you're a monster, but you clearly leaped before looking when joining Ashley Madison. You're going to get mad at other people because you made a mistake? It's other people who are insecure? I know I'm guilty of a response post here, but come on! It's not even about you.

Absolutely nothing I did was wrong. I was single, I joined it, I didn't meet or message anyone, when I did searches I only searched for single guys, I stopped going to it after a short while. Stop trying to make people out to be monsters when they haven't done anything. It's really pathetic that you're that insecure with yourself that you need to kick people down to your level so you can feel better about who you truly are on the inside. There are psychiatrists to help you with that. Have a good day, I'm done talking to wall.

I'm in the dark about this, but where is the list of Ashley Madison members? You have to seek it out, right? It's not like the list is plastered all over the news. I trust that my DH isn't on there. I haven't looked into it. I don't think anyone's employment is in danger unless they're a celebrity. While I don't give a crap who's on the list, I have no sympathy for trust breakers having their trust broken. Those on here talking about AM users who may not have cheated, what about emotional cheating.....or if they thought it was a "normal" dating site, why the hell would they be on a dating site if they're supposed to be in a committed relationship? Anyone with any grain of common sense knows what goes on the Internet isn't truly private. Like when people were shocked by Snowden's reveal a while back.... REALLY?!

Living in the UK, the Duggars and this whole Ashley Madison thing isn't really a big deal. But I got curious and found their fat shaming ad from a few years back. "Did your wife scare you last night?" Complete with picture of a big woman. Fucking wonderful. Yet more pandering to the bullshit that literally everything is a woman's fault. You have license to cheat because she's fat now. And I'm sure you look like Robert Downey Jr and are just as hot as the day you married.

You're missing the point. Men get off to tons of things that aren't for their "purpose". Style magazine, apple pies, armpits, furries. The point is that reality is huge for porn. Men hear there is a site with pictures of "REAL" women looking for sex(cheating or not) and they are going to go look at those women and get off, especially if they can see nudes or sexy images. Does it make them pervs or weird or whatever, maybe, but it doesn't make them cheaters. And before you say out them anyway for being gross or etc, well then you are no different than the judgy hypocrites that make the news.
