Why can't people leave wild animals alone? Reading about these idiots crowding a beach preventing the turtles from surfacing to lay their eggs, getting their vapid "turtle selfies". Not to mention the amount of Steve Irwin wannabes on Youtube tormenting wild animals for profit. I also recall a time I saw a girl pull a house gecko off a wall squealing "ooh cute, I have a lizard", then the attention whoring brat dropped the poor thing. There is a difference between viewing them from a respectful distance and being a complete knob end. Funniest part is these morons probably view themselves as "animal lovers". The kindest thing you can do, as an animal lover, is stay well away from wildlife unless it is injured, trapped or needs your help.

I like how One Million Moms removes all the comments that they don't agree with. Including mine. I didn't post anything hateful, just that I didn't see anything wrong with Campbell's soup having a commercial with 2 dads and their child. They can do whatever they want, it's their page, I get that; I just think it's funny.

I'm a life-long Republican, and I'm voting for Bernie Sanders.

When I first learned that Bernie Sanders referred to himself as a democratic socialist, I admit I was like, wtf does that mean. So read about it and learned the difference between socialism, communism, democratic socialism, oligarchy, wage inequality, etc. I know people get shitty when someone mentions Googling something but seriously, Google is my friend. I feel stupid admitting my ignorance when it comes to big words, but I'm trying to learn dammit!

I guess maybe I'm a left wing nut job too, but I saw this clip : ... and he makes sense to me. I didn't see the whole interview - I wish I did. Also- we already had the wage equality argument. It's semantics. No one thinks that everyone should make the same wage (no one here anyway)- it's just that some people use the term 'wage equality' to mean fair and livable wages for all, or a decrease in wage INequality. I know. It doesn't make sense to me either but it is what it is.

Wage equality would mean that everyone would make the same money, right? So if you spend 16 or 20 years of getting an education, you'd make the same as a person who dropped out of school after only 8 years. What would be the incentive for working hard in school? We could all quit school at age 16 and I could have as nice a house as you! Or maybe we'd both live in dumps and share the same cockroaches. And we'd soon run out of doctors and other people in professions that require a lot of schooling. We could be just like Cuba! How fun.....
