So a Louisiana teen had her face smashed in by cat callers....keep telling us how "harmless" your "compliments" are, guys.

So you were raped, therefore you want other women to be forced into situations where they are at a much higher risk of sexual assault? You think your experience as a rape survivor gives you the right to send other people to be raped? Stop trying to speak as a survivor. That's not my experience, that's not the experience of the other survivors who have posted. Stop making it about that, you're clearly just delusional.

A transperson entering the wrong bathroom risks assault, rape, even murder, at a rate higher than for a gender normative person. If that transperson is black the risk is higher still. That's not "cautious" either. It's so selfish that you don't even stop to consider what they should be cautious of.

I was raped by my grandfather and my husband. That doesn't mean I'm not cautious around people who aren't related to me. Everyone needs to be cautious. That's not paranoid. It means you are aware of what could happen. Walk around in a parking garage after dark - not cautious. Waving a lot of money around in a public place - not cautious. Sharing a woman's rest room with anyone who is out of place - like a heavily made up person whose beard is growing through the makeup - not cautious.

I think transgendered people should be allowed to use the toilet they prefer to use. I do not like the idea of unisex at all though. There have been several cases of women being raped recently in unisex toilets in Europe. Yes this could happen in any location, but as a survivor of sexual assault I really don't relish the idea of making it easier for sexual predators. Trans people choosing the bathroom they feel more comfortable and/or safe in, or else toilets that have a separate locking room for either gender, opening into a public area are the only safe options as far as I can see, until an all too large minority of straight men stop feeling like they have the right to do whatever they want with women's bodies.

So Delta airlines has banned people from bringing back trophy parts of Africa's big 5 animals. That's pretty great and all, but I would've thought disease control restrictions would have prevented people bringing back untreated pelts and heads and things. Some countries will arrest you if you so much as bring a banana off the plane from another country, yet you can bring animal bits back? Eww. Hope the other airlines follow suit anyhow.

What the heck are you guys doing in public bathrooms? I do all my business behind a closed stall door, so it's not like a man (or woman) can even see anything anyway. What are you so afraid of people seeing?

Being transgender does not mean that the person is not a sexual predator. Also allowing transgender male to female to use the ladies room makes it very easy for any man to put a dress and wig say he is transgender, and wait for a victim in the in an isolated public restroom. The transgender people do not seem to care about that, they just want what they want and eff everyone else.

I have been sexually abused- forced to give a blow job- and I would NOT feel comfortable with a man using the ladies room, even if he "now dresses and presents as a woman" I have rights too!!
