I have no problem calling out a sports mom for being rude or nasty to other moms or kids. Seriously, where does someone get off being a total B at a KIDS sporting event? I have cut down more than one nasty mouthed issue with that, I am not a shrinking violet. If you call a kid names you deserve to get a new one ripped into you.

I go through bouts of insecurity sometimes where I think DH doesn't like or love me anymore. I hate that and wish I could stop being insecure.

People pass so much judgement on what others eat, how much they eat, what they serve for dinner. NO ONE CARES

Had my daughter's birthday party today and there were a lot of kids there. One of them gave my daughter a bracelet maker set (already dreading the mess) and my niece starts to open the box! I did not want charms and beads all over the floor with so many kids around so I took it away and nicely asked her not to open up any of my daughter's presents especially without her permission (my kid was outside) my SIL grabs my niece's hand and says "It's ok, it looks like your auntie doesn't know how to share!" Um, wtf? You kid shouldn't be grabbing things that don't belong to them, especially others birthday presents and opening them! I just smiled and said "Nope, I don't know how to share other peoples' presents" and put the rest of the gifts in my daughter's room. I am sick and tired of SIL's constant sniping and I am really sick of my nieces behavior with my daughter's things. They have broken toys before and I wasn't going to let her break a brand new thing! Whenever I ask my SIL to please keep an eye on her kids or ask them to be careful, I get this crap. Stupid passive-aggressive crap. I love my nieces but I can't stand their behavior. Was I wrong?

I've been feeling awful about some bitchy comments I made to another mom who offended me awhile back. I actually felt awful immediately after making them, because in reality, I would never look down on her about the things I harped on. I was just mad.

I'm really annoyed at my DH. He and his CWs went to a training session where they were served beef tenderloin for dinner afterwards. DH ate 4 tenderloins and his friend ate 3 of them. He didn't seem to think it was a big deal, but good Lord--why be such a pig??

Teachers - would you find it tacky to get cash at the end of the year in a nice card, instead of a gift card? I always fear that gift cards get forgotten and not used. But I am not sure if cash is tacky. I am thinking $20. Input?
