I have confessed before that my youngest has asthma and is on medication. It is unfortunately hard to control when she's sick. She's 19 mos old and usually sleeps all night. But when she's sick even with medication sometimes nothing works. I can't let her cry at night when she's sick because she will have an attack. Laying down with her or putting her in my bed doesn't work. Rocking her in the glider doesn't work. Some nights I can't even get her to just lay down on the couch with me and watch TV. This last time has been brutal. In five days I have gotten maybe one nights sleep. When she is sick I just want to cry. My DH works a dangerous job and leaves at 430AM so I am mainly the one who does nights. And I feel guilty if I try to nap during the day. I'm so tired I feel like I'm losing my mind.

My son's class just came back from a camp where they learned a lot about diversity, conflict resolution, and spreading peace. He had a great experience, and says he feels "different." He's all pumped up. Right now he is singing along to a CD of songs he learned at camp. The songs have titles like "I Don't Know What It's Like to Be You (The Empathy Song)" and "It's Okay to Cry." The thing is, my kid already knew all this stuff. How much you want to bet that all the class bullies were singing along around the campfire and will be back to bullying on Monday?

I wish I could say I want to be like my mom, but honestly, I'm doing everything I can in my power to turn out exactly the opposite of what she is.

Tonight I'm supposed to be graduating from nursing school. Instead I found out that I failed a class by 1% point. Failing a class means I'm kicked out of the program and have to start all over somewhere else if I want to be a nurse. I don't even know how I'm going to tell my son. I'm a single mom and this was supposed to be our ticket to a better life.

I complain just as much about my step kids as I do about my own kids. I don't single my step kids out. This week my oldest ds6 has been acting up slightly. He came back from his dad's on Sunday and you can definitely see the difference in him when he comes back. When we used to get dsd7 from her mom, she'd whine and cry all the time about every little thing. She doesn't now though, thank goodness. Both of those circumstances I've complained about on Truu. Guess which confession I got support on? Complaining about my own kid. Guess which confession I got so much backlash over? Complaining about my dsd. I don't single any of the kids out from one another. My ds and step kids have gotten me gifts this year for mother's day, they are all good kids. I'm ALLOWED to complain about my step kids just as I'm allowed to complain about my own kids. I learned a lesson to not put the word 'step' in my confessions when I complain about my step kids and that seems to help the ladies to retract their claws and give me REAL support and advice rather than being b*tches to me in my confessions.

Funny how people call you out for being judgemental...and presumptuous...then proceed to be judgemental and presumptuous.

The women on the Maury show has me wondering how they can sleep with all those men. One lady has had 15 DNA tests so far! That is just nasty to sleep with all those men in such a short amount of time. You get what you deserve if you can't find your baby's dad. And then they're all up there screaming and shouting "I know he's the dad! Look at that nose and hair. It's the same!" And then they have to do the walk of shame off the stage cause the guy is not the father. Nasty hoes.

You asked 'and'? Well, its middle name is also pretty dumb--Caseon (like Case On). omg. Why do people try to be so unique in the spelling of their kid's names? It's not unique at all, these are names your child has to live with forever.
