I'm about to lay down the law on my 4yo. It's going to rock his world, but I've been to lenient and it's going to bite me in the ass if I don't get a handle on it pronto. Told him tonight that tomorrow if he acts up he'll have to suffer the consequences so he isn't totally shocked. Wish me luck.....

Last weekend my sweet angel of a cuteness sweetness and light boston terrier .... attacked and bloodied up one of our ducks. The duck will live, she'll be fine. But man! How is this sweet angelic puppy capable of such horrors? And the horrors don't stop there, either. He's been a nightmare to potty-train. He STILL pees in the house sometimes. We've never had a problem like this training a dog, but we've never had a boston terrier either. And the farts! Oh! This tiny baby angelic-looking sweet cuddly snuggler... could clear a banquet hall full of people with one tiny *poot*.

You do not, repeat do not, cross a boundary about teenagers and their jobs. My friend's son has had a coveted summer job for two years. The mom of a kid (who is actually a jerk to this other boy), asked about the hiring practices of said summer job. My friend was evasive, and this kid's Mom told the manager that her son was "a great friend of X." Guy said "I'll hire him on that alone even though I am done hiring." That's not balls that's really sneaky.

What was the most shocking thing anyone ever said to you? Mine was when a doctor told me, "You are having a stroke, and it is a very big deal" one month after my 30th birthday.

i have known this women for 22 years. we have worked together at 2 different places. she always asks what i'm doing on the weekend, and then when we come back to work, what did you do this weekend? i told her we had a party for my fil on saturday & i cleaned, did laundry, and lounged on the couch sunday. "oh i would have helped you clean. and i would have sat there and watched tv with you." NO YOU WOULDN'T! i never invite you over. ever! she's about 50 something. never been married, no kids, no car, no phone. i've told her that we work together all week and the weekends are for my family. LEAVE ME ALONE! ugh. anyone else have a coworker like this?

Please don't have a baby. You were just begging for $250 to make rent and now you don't want to work extra hours because "you have too much to do at home, even though you need the money". SMH. How can you just say yes to your BF ready to be a father? He doesn't even work! He's part of the reason you guys have been homeless before. Please re-think this. Sadly, no one can tell her any of this because "it's her bleeping life and nobody pays her bleeping bills etc etc etc"...

My daughter is starting college next fall. I'm very proud of her because she's only 15 and is taking full advantage of her high school's dual enrollment program. She had to take college entrance exams in order to qualify for the class she wanted because it required prerequisites. And she scored 98%. She is determined. She WILL be the first in our family to graduate high school and go straight to a university. I didn't, her dad didn't, none of her grandparents, or her older brother. I am SO HAPPY for her that she will get to experience that!
