That's a load of horse shit...natural deodorant won't work UNTIL your body unclogs itself of all the sweat antiperspirant blocks you from expelling. Use a natural deodorant for a couple of weeks and you will smell terrible, after that it starts to work...I don't use them because I sweat so much I need antiperspirant though, otherwise I get horrid sweat patches. I only use natural cleaners because the smell of bleach and chemicals make me sick and my kitchen (and bathroom is sparkling. Natural sunscreens couldn't legally be marketed as sunscreens unless they protect your skin from UV rays, it would be dangerous false advertising. I've used them for years and never burned.

The only difference between "natural" and "unnatural" suncreen is that one uses titanium dioxide, mexoryl, or other chemicals, and one uses zinc oxide. Zinc oxide is less toxic and protects from the full UV range. So actually, it works better. Just deciding something doesn't work because it doesn't destroy the ecosystem and your health is ignorant at best.

I researched non carcinogenic sunscreens on the environmental working group website. I went to whole foods and bought a very expensive, very small tube of sunscreen. It was an unappealing shade of brown, felt like sandy grease, had a weird smell like funky seaweed, and needed vigorous shaking because it would separate. No thanks!

"Natural" is usually code for "does not work." If you're ever in a train car full of hipsters who use "natural deodorant" or have tried to clean a kitchen floor with "natural detergent," you know what I mean.

Choose natural sunscreen/sunblock. Problem solved!

Babies wave hi or smile at me when I walk by. This makes me happy since I like working with kids.

Went on a friends bday hike which we thought would be an easy 8 miles was an really an intense 12 miles. Thankfully, we made it to our hot tubs appointment mostly on time and got to soak in the tub, sauna, and cold plunge. The best way to unwind and treat ourselves.
