When I see Axe commercials, I don't really see anything that sends a negative message to or about women. Of course, there are probably hundreds of these commercials and it's impossible for me to have seen all of them. I know their shtick is that their product will make the men who use it irresistable to women, which is absurd of course, but I think the real message is "Pssst, hey guys. Wash your ass if you don't want to send women running the other direction." I do think they represent beauty from a narrow minded standpoint, but I don't necessarily consider that to be sexist. I think it's about time they started gearing some of these "be attractive" commercials toward men. Sure, the women in those commercials are supermodel types, but so are the men. I don't love Axe commercials or anything, but I don't think they're offensive.
