I don't think colored contacts look natural on anyone.

Went back to Target and didn't see the skinny white jeans, but what I did see were another pair of cute white jeans (straight leg), and dark denim skinny jeans with zipper all for the price of the skinny white jeans. Got 'em both!

Wow Adam Richman, dumb move!! I wonder if this will ruin his career. The public seems pretty forgiving, but this was over the top.

The lady who got the dancing park ranger fired needs a life in the worst way. What a sad sack!

Gordon Ramsay may be a good cook/chef, but I think he is a disgusting persona on TV, which doesn't say much for his offscreen person either.

Do any of you ever fast? I am starting over with clean eating, instead of eating clean all day, I feel like fasting and just drinking lots of lemon water to clean out my body today.

I don't think Axe commercials are sexist. I think cleaning product commercials are sexist though. I think a lot of beauty product commercials are sexist too. Commercials that try to convince women what they should care about are annoying. "Oh, Susan! You have spots on your dishes!" "That's alright, Emily. At least I'm defying my age!"

I am reading the book by Michelle Knight ... A Memoir of the Cleveland Kidnappings. There are a few things in the book that make her sound ... man, I don't want to say uneducated ... but, for lack of a better word ... anyway, I know that she only made it to 9th grade and that by a miracle, so the book says. I guess the reason it bugs me that the book has some grammatical errors and fact finding errors is because she had help writing it. I know this is petty but I can't help but feel that the woman who helped her (Michelle Burford) should have stepped up and said, "This name is spelled wrong or there is a better way to use that word." I really think Michelle (Lily) Knight is amazing and strong. I just wish that her writing partner had done a better job. :/

Funny you guys should bring up eyes today. I was just thinking this morning I wish one of my kids had got my eye color. (They are teal blue.) Instead one child has hazel eyes and one has brown. But my youngest does have red hair and that gene hasn't popped up in the family for 3 generations-so at least that's interesting!

I find all these campaigns by companies like Dove and Always a bit hypocritical. They are all "yay, woman power, all sizes of woman are beautiful" but they are owned by massive parent companies who also produce completely sexist adverts like the axe deodorant ones. Still, the "like a girl" advert makes people think about their language at least, and so do the Pantene ones about labels and "not sorry". Which is something at least.
