Is it bad that I am actually excited for my husband's month long training? I mean, I love him and will miss him but he is such a fucking picky eater. I can finally experiment with shit he won't eat like homemade mushroom soup, zucchini bread, chocolate pumpkin muffins and spicy Sriracha shrimp and zucchini lo mein! Nights with Hallmark and lifetime movies..the shmaltzier the better. No really loud action films every Friday night with his friends. Just me, rose wine and some chocolate covered pears

My skin is really dry and no matter what I do, exfoliate, face masks, homemade face masks it is still all dry to the point where it hurts when I work out because my face feels like its stinging and irritated. WTF?

I can watch Legends of the Fall movie over and over and over....and I have. Such a good movie. And Brad Pitt is just so gorgeous. His character is the type of man I would love to have married.

I hate it when people find out I play video games and then proceed to tell me what a waste of time that is and how I'm rotting my brain. Then they ask me if I watch the Bachelor, CSI, Fox News,The Voice, or some other TV show. I don't watch TV and I'm pretty sure the Bachelor causes more brain-rot than any of the games I play. At least I use my brain when I'm playing a game.

You know it's odd but I'm really feeling for Mara Wilson. She's the actress who played the youngest daughter in Mrs Doubtfire, she also played the young girl in Miracle on 34th Street (along side Richard Attenborough). To have two co-stars pass on so close to each other must be having a affect on her.

I ran 20 miles for marathon training tonight. And then I made dinner! Lol. Usually I already have something ready or I order in. Tonight somehow I managed to stay standing for 30 min while I made dinner. Which I just finished eating at 10:15 pm. I am so beat! But feeling good about these two accomplishments.

Tough day. Emotional. Ego-crushing. Went to the store, and at the checkout, I wanted a bag of chips. My comfort food. I wasn't about to tell myself no. I eat cleanly all the time; today deserved comfort. But I figured I could find something healthier. Went back down the aisles and found those Snap Pea Crisps. Have you had those things? God, i love them. And they're peas. For real. With protein and fiber and much less fat than chips. So I got those and ate the whole bag in the car in the parking lot while I cried about my day. At least I didn't add insult to injury by eating something I would have felt worse about afterwards.
