Pop culture encompasses a lot of things. I never said people don't have that right...however I ALSO have a right to share my opinion. Don't like it? Fuck off.

Sorry, I don't like it when someone signs into the pop culture board for the sole purpose of being snarky to half of the people posting on it. That's where this started. If the people posting here know about the "plight" of the celebrity, why the hell wouldn't celebrities know what they were signing up for? I never said anything about it being ok for paparazzi to lurk outside of people's homes...etc, but if people want to gossip about what the stars wear on the red carpet or their drunken debacle out on the town...WHO CARES? Yes, celebrities signed up for that.

I would hate to be famous. I'd be one of those people always ending up on the "worst dressed' list or...'worst beach body' or some other degrading nonsense/

I wouldn't be famous if you paid me a billion dollars...I think that sort of life looks like hell. Always having to put a front up to the world, not having an opinion that your publicist didn't give to you, massive scrutiny if you put on weight or dare to go out without a full face of makeup or whatever. Having people who "befriend" you to sell stories to papers. People camping out on your lawn. Hells no.

So celebs signed up to be harassed and stalked did they? I don't think so. In most cases they probably didn't realise the kind of life they were in for until they were actually in it. Sorry that I choose to have some sympathy for people that can't vomit or gain a pound without the entire world obsessing over coke addiction or possibly pregnancy.

There are a few celebs I like because they have intelligent things to say, but it's limited to enjoying their films/music and reading/watching interviews or there. Gossip mags and sites HQs can all catch fire as far as I'm concerned.

I don't follow many celebrities and I really don't care much about their lives, but even though they did sign up to be in the spotlight, I still don't think it's fair to their kids to be harassed by the Paparazzi. Those kids didn't choose for their parents to be famous. They shouldn't have to suffer because their parents chose that industry to be in.

I saw Keifer today, Jenelle's exboyfriend from Teen Mom. He looks pretty rough in person.
