Wait wait...I worry what you think I just said was 'give me a lot of bacon and eggs.' What I said was give me all the bacon and eggs you have.

There is this blog called Mama Laughlin I used to like to read. She lost weight and went from relatable to trying to be an internet sensation. Taking slefies constantly, pretty obviously using a skinny app when she is already thin to look better, etc. Then I found this website called Get Off my Internet where people trash blogs. (Hundreds of blogs-even Apartment Therapy) There is over 900 pages of people bashing her and critiquing every single inch of every photo she posts, etc. I read some and there were valid points, but after a while it was just mean, mean, mean girl stuff. And of course if you say wow you people are cruel, get a life, etc. you might as well be a lamb tossing yourself to hungry wolves. Just horrible. I know of two other blogs who shut down because of the site.

A lady I know got on a massive health kick about 6 months ago, she got a job at her local gym, has a personal trainer and a special diet. She literally works out/exercises all day long. And her hard work has paid off, she looks AMAZING and has started competing in Fitness Competitions - an winning. She got a boob job, dyed her hair blond and got long extensions, fake lashes, fake tan - the whole nine yards. She's look like a bomb shell without the added fakeness. Then she snaps off daily 'progress' selfies and hashtags them #natural athlete #natural body.... It bugs me more than it should but that's not 'natural'! She looks amazing and I know some of you will say I'm bitter because I'm jealous, she's an inspiration for sure but I'm not jealous. I just don't her claiming to be 'natural' when her boobs, hair, tan, eyelashes, ect are not 'natural' at all.

I am addicted to reading Apartment Therapy, thought I find the commenters very snobby. What blogs or boards do you love/hate/comment on?

Oh, the irony. I'm rocking out to Minor Threat while sucking down vodka. (They were a straight edge band.) I think I have a problem? I'm afraid I'm becoming a functioning alcoholic like my dad, because I accomplished a lot today, but now that I'm still, I'm spinning. I think I'm making up for last night, being on the cheap, not drinking at the DBT show. I've had the vodka laying around for a while. Anyway, one of my fantasies is to start a Minor Threat cover band with me on drums. It's a fantasy because I'm not a drummer. I can play the guitar parts, no problem. (Whoopdie do, I know) Back to Drive By Truckers though. I watched their documentary. I can't recall the exact title, but I think it's called "The Secret to Being Happy". Jason Isbell said something that has kept me afloat all day today. I will quote him as best as I can, "We never realized, growing up, that we were in an economically depressed area. Instead of thinking OMG, we're in a trailer. We thought, hey, we're in a trailer. It's not raining on my head." On a pop culture note, our family should be cranking "School's Out" since today was the last day of school :) On a bodily note (?) I'm considering the sex industry to put my kids through college. Not really, I still have a few years, but yeah, kinda. That's where I'm at financially

I use the old school red pencil Maybelline eyeliner, and even take a lighter to it! It goes on nice and stays on and washes off easy. it doesn't smear into my crease but that's because I use powder on my eyelid to keep it dry, my eyelids are oily. (wierd!)

I hate seeing men in skinny jeans, everything looks all squished and it's just gross. However I'm pretty sure they don't get labelled nasty names (except maybe "hipster", which is not quite on the same level of viciousness as "slut", even if everyone does dislike hipsters, they don't generally get raped and murdered for dressing that way) for wearing clothes. People are kind of getting away from the issue here. No, I wouldn't really like to see a guy in daisy dukes, but although people might regard him as looking ridiculous, I doubt people would judge he was an immoral person and doesn't deserve to be treated with respect, as many people seem to think is acceptable with a "slutty" looking woman.
