Why are there so many "response to confession" postings? Is it really that difficult to reply in the comments??

In response to a confession. It's completely normal for a person who experiences sleep paralysis to feel this way. I've had lucid dreams and sleep paralysis since I was a kid, and lemme tell ya, I know how terrifying it can be. I thought a demon was trying to kill me, and believed for years that I'd been abducted by aliens. If this happens to you, when you lay down, consciously set the intention that nothing can touch you; anything negative around you is banished and you're protected by *insert whatever you believe in* Angels, God, Jesus, guides, etc. You might even smudge your house with sage. It's the belief and intention behind the action that counts. We have more control/power over our minds than we think.

In response to a confession. It's called sleep paralysis, and this happened to me frequently as a child. But I'm completely on the fence about that really being what it was for me, for two reasons: 1) We really DID have - what I fully believe to be - a demonic entity in that house, and 2) I left home at 18, I'm almost 50 now, and I never experienced that again.

In response to a confession. There's a kind of "haunting" or something along those lines where people actually think they have a demon sitting on them, haunting them and they also feel that pressure on their chest of something on their chest and they open their eyes and see a demon sitting on them. I saw something like this on TV a few years ago and apparently this sort of thing has plagued a lot of people and seems to happen to quite a few individuals. I know one lady said she could never sleep more than a few hours cause she'd wake up with a demon on her chest. I can't even remember the name of the show or if there's a name of this odd phenomenon.

This is SO not normal...do you take any sort of hallucinogenics, op? Or medication that might be messing with your head?

I have had to instances where I was lying on my back and felt a great pressure on my chest. When I opened my eyes the first time there was a person on top of my chest with their hands over my eyes. I screamed and screamed for help. Then when I opened my eyes again I could see that it was me on top of myself, staring at me with eyes wide open. I continued to scream. When I "came to" I went and asked if anyone heard me screaming and they did not. This happened a second time, but I did not see anything, I just felt pressure and heard loud whispering.

I'm a lucid dreamer. Recently, I've been listening to binaural beats while I sleep, and holy balls. My dreams are 10x more lucid. Like, having in depth conversations with dead people lucid.

I don't remember anything from when I was 10-12. The Phoenix Lights incident happened around then, I wonder if there's any correlation. We lived near Luke AFB at that time.
