In response to a confession. OP of neighborhood dream: Have you read the Cedar Cove series? It's a feel good series about a dreamy little town in Washington state. I bet you'd like it. Also the Icicle Falls series by Sheila Roberts.

*Trigger Warning/Happy Outcome. While I was pregnant with our first baby I was insanely paranoid that something bad was going to happen. I was genuinely shocked when he was born a healthy full term bub. But the inkling wouldn't go away, something bad was going to happen. I would sleep with my hand on his chest (cot right beside the bed) so I could feel him breathe while I dozed. On night when he was 8 months old dread woke me, I woke knowing something horrible had happened, it took a second to register that he wasn't breathing, I jumped up, jostling him as I did so, and as I hit the light I heard him take in a big gasp of air and start to cry. His face was pale and around his lips was tinged blue. Ambulance, hospital, tests.. 'Recovered Sids' was the diagnosis they gave me. If I hadn't been sleeping with my hand on his chest would I have woken in time? Would he have woken on his own without me jostling him? Who knows. Mothers intuition I guess..

I dream every night about the same wonderful, fantastical neighborhood and I can't wait to go to sleep at night and see my friends. This is not sarcastic, I'm serious. My life between 11pm-7am is pretty awesome.

not really sure what this forum is supposed to be about exactly but i guess I'll contribute. when i was about 5 or 6 i had. a dream that i, my mom and my two aunts were at a beach swimming in neck-deep water. all of a sudden a big shark came and bit the breasts off of both of my aunts but left me and my mom alone. it was gory and scary. about 15 years later one of my aunts died from breast cancer. my other aunt passed away from breast cancer as well three years later. i totally forgot about the dream until a couple years after my second aunt passed. I'm sure it's just a coincidence but it still kinds creeps me out when i think about it.

My mom always told me that I had healing hands. My palms are always red and warm. If someone has an ache or pain, I can lay my hands on them and take it away. My dog tripped up the porch steps and hurt his leg a few weeks ago. I laid my hands on his leg and he was up and running again. I know, I sound crazy. True story, though. And my niece is the same way.

My brother believes he is psychic and when he talks about it, he refers to himself in the third person. He is also very mentally ill and a drug addict.

Psychic, seriously? Complete and utter bull. Not real in any way.

I once dreamed of going through labor and delivery and delivering a girl. I woke up at 3:30am feeling the pains and emotions. The next day when my daughter came home from school, she told me her friend's mom gave birth to a baby girl in the middle of the night. I never knew the girl's mom was pregnant.
