DH has become so negative and argumentative. He feels the need to tell me how to do everything and "school" me. I'm not a child and resent him treating me this way. He'll also ask my opinion about something and then go on to tell me why I'm wrong or naive. Whatever dude, I was surviving quite nicely before you - and I'm really sure I can again if you don't quit being such an ass. Not sure how much I can tolerate his attitude.

I can not stand when people allow their dogs to sit right beside you while you are eating and stare at you. We have some friends and every time they invite us over for dinner, their large dog sits inches from me panting on my leg while I attempt to eat. When I try to cut my food, pick up food with a fork he leans in and starts smelling my plate. It grosses me out and I can't eat. Some may say I am being dramatic but I can't eat while smelly dog breath is wafting over me and my food. I also get tired of when the animal is doing whatever it wants and the owner says oh he is just a dog. He is just a dog but they can be taught manners just like a child. I have dogs of my own and they have all been trained and have manners.

My fiancé has been down lately because we live in an RV and "there is supposed to be more to life". I told him "RV life isn't ideal for most people. But we have a roof over our heads. We have heat and A/C. We have a queen sized bed. We have two flat screen TVs. We have cable and wifi. We have a kitchen w/a fridge, sink, oven, stove, and microwave. We have a toilet and shower." We may not live in a house but we have more than a lot of people have and we worked for it. Yes, our house has wheels but we are independent and we have everything we need/want. If people think we are redneck or trashy, oh well. I'd rather be a stereotype than have a home loan we cannot afford like a lot of other people our age. And there are people out there that would do anything to live in an RV instead of in a shelter or in a box or under a bridge. Redneck or not, I AM GRATEFUL.

I'm confused by all the single people that say they're glad they're single because they can do whatever they want...because it makes me wonder what kinda controlling relationships they've been in. I'm engaged and I can do whatever I want.

My DH stayed with his brother in the city (where he works) this week because of overtime. He has stayed for the week plenty of times. I don't know if it was the stress of the kids being sick from the stomach bug going around, or maybe from dealing with my parents who aren't getting along. But I cried, like sobbing a river of tears that he was finally home. I always miss him when he's gone, but I have never just lost it and started crying like that. It just came over me all of the sudden. It was crazy. I'm still weirded out over it.

I'm not drinking any alcohol tonight. It's kind of a big accomplishment for me. One day at a time...
