IRS says that we owe $5300. CPA says the IRS is wrong .... well, we all know who will win THAT battle. The IRS took our refund ~ it was $4700. We really needed that money. And we still owe just over $500 to pay off the balance.

Something I ate has given me terrible, raunchy gas. Every time our dog hears me fart, she runs to where I am so she can smell it. Nasty dog. :)

I bought my last suitcase new at a thrift shop for $25. There is no need to pay full price for a suitcase, ever.

I love this week's theme. DH & I were on some moronic (but funny to us, we were tipsy) kick one night about dinosaurs not fitting on the ark. I remember saying "No, uh, dinosaurs? NOAH'S FAULT!" It's possible (I'm not sure) that I even posted it on truu...you know because it was so brilliant and everything. Yikes.

Of course I'm not perfect! There's a crack in my ass! (Forgive me, I'm in weird mood).

I thought it'd be a great idea to bring the 96 gallon trash bin back from the curb before I walked the dog. However, I already had the dog on her leash, so I figured she could just walk with me while I pulled the bin back to the house. Bad idea--she got spooked at the sound of the wheels and bolted, pulling me off balance and making me fall and pull the garbage bin down on top of me. No one got hurt, but MAN, I am glad no one was watching. That was mega-embarrassing.

Dh has memory issues. Legit short term memory issues. He uses it as an excuse all the time when he forgets to do something I ask. Which, while I think sometimes it's bs it's something I expect and if it isn't important I don't bother to remind him. But it drives me nuts that he seems to expect me to believe him on certain things. He's currently looking for his tablet. He likes to leave it charging on the kitchen counter and I move it because it's hogging one of 2 outlets that I can use in the kitchen, or because I don't want it getting damaged. When I move it I ALWAYS put it in the same spot because I hate it when he moves my stuff somewhere random and then can't remember when I ask. It's not in that spot but the charger is. And he swears up and down that he just put it in the kitchen to charge yesterday. I know for a fact that it's not true... I used the outlet yesterday for my crockpot and rice cooker... When I moved the charger I remember thinking "he can't get too mad this time... Nothing is plugged into the charger." The crock pot and rice cooker are still plugged into the outlet. I told him I'd try hard to remember where I saw it last and he says to me not to bother because he knows where it was yesterday and I should just work on remembering where I put it after moving it. I just want to yell that I didn't f-ing touch it and he shouldn't make accusations like that knowing his memory is so bad. But if I say anything at all about his bad memory he gets all upset and offended.

I went to the dentist today and the hygienist started going on this random tangent about her daughter's gallbladder surgery. Dude, that is not exactly chit-chat/casual conversation! Can't we just discuss, say, the weather?

Every morning, my DH sings the "It's Such a Good Feeling" song from Mr. Roger's Neighborhood as he puts his boots and jacket on. He sings this to the cat and always finishes with "...and you'll have lots of things you'll want to talk about. And I will too..." It cracks me up every time I see him do it because it's so darn cute.
