It was 25 for a *new* suitcase at the thrift store, and she didn't get bedbugs. She got a new suitcase. At the thrift store. Sometimes stores send overstock there. You can pick up some good deals I guess!

The older I get, the more eccentric I get. By the time I'm elderly, I'm going to be the crazy neighborhood dog lady.

$25 for a used suitcase? I got a brand new SET (2 suitcases and a duffel bag) for only $35 at Gordmans.

Pretty sure my husband has a drinking problem. Last week he bought a bottle of whiskey. He filled his flask, then drank the rest of the bottle over the weekend. Today while looking for the car's registration I found the flask in the bin-thing between the seats. It was empty. I asked him if he was drinking at work and he said no. Later I asked why it was in the car. I put it up on top of the kitchen cabinets last Saturday night. He said he didn't know and got mad at me. I'm pretty upset right now.

I KNOW my neighbors can hear me farting when I'm on my back porch in the mornings. They can't see me, so they don't know exactly where it's coming from though.

I hate politics. I hate that there is always someone to blame for every issue. We have lots and lots of dead presidents that were good presidents/politicians, but it doesn't do us any good to keep talking about how good they were. I'm tired of all the hating and prejudice and debating. I know things aren't that easy to solve, but damn, we will never know unless we stop fighting and actually care about one another and stop judging.

We have 3 months of a premium channel right now. Looking through the on demand movies I found the new Red Dawn. Knowing dh wanted to see it I showed him when he got home. He said we should watch it right now so I started it. I asked him about a part and he says " idk, it's too bright... I can't see details..." In our house when the sun is out it's hard to see the screen in dark movies/shows/scenes from certain seats. I'm in a good spot, and he's not. It's been dark and rainy all day and I was so caught up in the movie I didn't realize the sun came out. So I ask if he'd like to stop the movie till the sun goes down and he says "that's be nice... I want to see what's going on too" very angrily. I told him he could have said something a while ago... We are watching the movie for him afterall... And he gets angry at me. He does this all the time... Doesn't say something, gets mad about me not knowing, and when I finally catch on he acts all pissy. I ask him why he doesn't say anything and he just blows me off.

Did you know that Mother's Day is next weekend? I thought it was the weekend after that. My dad is making a turkey dinner for us and the day before all of us moms like my mom and sisters are competing in a trivia tournament. I love turkey dinner. I'm making the rolls and bringing the wine. My mom told us kids to bring boxes or bins because we're going through a couple of closets and if we don't want our old stuff thrown out we have to take it home. They're sick of keeping all of our old stuff.

Ugh. No matter how much I work out, cardio, intensive weights, etc., my stomach and waist are STILL flabby!! I think they maybe even flabbier than before!! I do take lyrica, but my neurologist insists that's not the problem. I just feel gross no matter what I do.

Next weekend I entertaining company the entire weekend. On Saturday I'll need to make breakfast & lunch for a crowd of 10. Dinner is planned because it's a birthday party (25) but I need a few ideas for breakfast/lunch food. I was thinking fruit & biscuits & gravy for breakfast and slow cooker pulled pork with cole slaw & chips for lunch. Thoughts? Any easier ideas?
