BF met every qualification for this potential job and was deeply excited for a chance to speak abt his qualifications, but did not follow the directions in scheduling a phone call interview. He accidentally overlooked a set of instructions. They immediately canceled the scheduled call (at the time it was scheduled) and when he apologized via email, they said something like policy was that if they didn't follow instructions, they weren't given another opportunity. The office mgr was extremely curt in the email and borderline rude. I feel disappointed for BF and by company's harsh policy. Kinda interesting given they are a mental health start-up. I get first impressions are important well before the interview, but this policy seems overboard.

Ugh, man. Nestle offered me a third interview for this job. It's 2 hours long and I meet with 5 people. I have a feeling they'll offer me the job. Which would be fine, I guess. It pays well and the hours are okay, but I'd really prefer to not work for them based on their ethics. I guess I can at least do my part to make sure they aren't doing anything worse than they are already.

My coworker and I always have deep, spiritual conversations from the moment we met. He says that we've met before in our past lives. Well, in this life I totally feel this intense connection. I feel like I can look at him and not want to break eye contact, things he says resonates with my soul, and I think I'm developing a crush on him (although I have a bf). I was really sad to learn today that he's moving out of state this summer.

Weird! I have a new coworker who just can't seem to get it together. He's been with us for nearly 6 months. Yesterday morning (Sunday), I went to pick up breakfast for my family. When I got back into the car, I saw that he had texted me, asking for a password that he should freaking know by now. I was a little annoyed. I called him back and went on my way. Not far from home, I was coming up to a stop sign with a blind corner. I was about 100 feet from the stop when someone came from the left, making a right turn onto the road I was on. Because of the trees they couldn't see me, and they were going so fast that they swung into my lane. If I hadn't taken that 30 seconds to call my CW back, I would have been hit head-on.

My internship interview went so well! Oh man, I really hope I get this position. I would get to do field work all summer and gain experience writing permits and talking to farmers about how they can minimize their environmental impacts.

Woohoo! 2 interviews next week. I've come to the realization that I no longer love going to work. My boss and her boss are making it a toxic place and a handful of my favorite coworkers are leaving or have left or have reduced their available hours. The 2 jobs I'll be interviewing for pay about twice as much as I currently make and are both on the top 100 places to work (though my current company is too) and have good benefits. I kind of want to stay on as super part time (some people work like twice a month) for the perks though.

I had an interview today and holy crap, it was so shady! The guy didn't really tell me much about the job, other than that I would not get benefits and would be working on commission selling equipment door to door. It was so not what I was expecting based on the job description. I am bummed because I was hoping it was going to be a good fit. I just don't know if I would feel comfortable going to people's houses. I feel like if people want this equipment, they will order it.
