Shit. Shit. Shit. I found like the absolute perfect job and submitted my application/resume. The guy called me back about 5 minutes later and wanted to phone interview me for the position. It was going great until he asked when I could start and I said at the end of May when I'm done training my replacement at my lab. He said, "Oh, well, we really need someone to start right now". Crap. I am half tempted to just leave my current job but I don't want to burn any bridges especially when the offer isn't final.

Whew. I applied for several more jobs and a couple co ops today. What annoys me is when you are filling out their applications and it won't submit because, say, you used a dollar sign by your salary. It's like you have to go through and guess what you're doing wrong. Maybe it's their weeding out strategy, haha.

I just applied for more internships and got some leads for jobs from my job fair. And I even maybe found a "date" with one company that is really looking for a specialized sales engineer. The rep from the company really wanted to hire me right there, but he says he has to give my resume to HR first. Fingers crossed--a nice cushy job would be so great.

Eight years ago you wanted to open an ice cream shop. Asked me to process your payroll & sales taxes. You then IGNORE the forms I give you, pay everything late, don't EVER provide me with the info I need, and then decide to close said ice cream shop. Eight years later, payroll tax agencies are up your ass and around the corner. And this is now MY fucking emergency? My boss is asking ME what went wrong? YOU!
