I'm going to a job fair in a couple weeks and I'm nervous! I really want to impress the people hiring and I will of course be very dressed up, but any other tips? I will be bringing copies of my resume to hand out--what sorts of things should I put on there? I am so nervous and excited all at the same time.

OMG. New phone system + Elderly CW = I actually had to go to her desk, answer the call, then transfer it to myself. This is after the client called THREE times and she cannot do three simple steps. Answer the phone: Step one. Hit the transfer button. Step two. Dial my extension. Step three. Hit transfer again. Hang up the phone. I dunno what the hell she did but she hung up on him three fucking times. We've gone over this so many times. I swear to God, I might start day-drinking.

In response to a confession. No, not really.. When my child was born I did extensive research trying to find a legit work from home job. Nothing ever panned out. I still would like to find one as well but not much out there.

In response to a confession. Recently I was working on a deal with someone in our office. Getting documents from her was like pulling teeth, and required multiple emails EVERY DAY. A couple times I had to go to higher-ups to get them. One time she simply sent me a screenshot of a doc she'd opened up from her email. Not only was the doc cut off, but I almost fainted. She had over 16,000 UNREAD emails in her inbox. Wtf! I have older email accounts that I check only once every few months, and the most I've had is like 4000.

Our contract says that if we are hit by a student that we have the right to take the rest of the day off, but I have been hit and scratched every day for the last week, and if I went home the aides would be hit and scratched, which is not acceptable. I found my limit with hitting and scratching. It's a week. I cried at work today.

So here's a new one. I emailed payment vouchers to a client so she could pay her payroll tax liability for December. I did this over a week ago. This morning I have this reply to my email in my inbox: "I noticed these payment vouchers are dated 2014. Does that make a difference?" ... So I look a little closer and she's replying to an email I sent her in January of 2015. With vouchers to pay the December 2014 payroll tax liability. What the hell?

Jesus. Client has several employees named Nick and I got them mixed up. Now I have to redo a bunch of stuff. At least I got to make a joke abut My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Yeah, I'm hilarious. *headdesk*
