In response to a confession. I have to repent. I've been hitting fave on this because I think it's funny that, every time I do, someone reacts by hitting omg. I once did this on the psychic page, too. I'm sorry! I have a problem, ok?!

In response to a confession. I did consider that. I don't feel bad about myself, I'm just not happy with where my life is at. I like the hotel work because I can do it alone, it is physically taxing, yet mindless. Mostly it gets me out of the house and not spending so much time alone.

In response to a confession. Why not spend your weekends volunteering at a shelter or hospital or something like that? I think that would make you feel better about yourself.

I should have said that I resigned from my job in March 2017 to work back at my dad's paralegal office. I didn't get paid unless I served papers. He has dementia and him and his wife asked if I'd consider coming back to help and train someone. I worked at his office for 8 years before I worked with the State for 15 and a half years. The cussing, complaining lady drains me. It's just her and I in this bitty office and her cussing and complaining all day makes me feel like she's upset with me. I know she isn't, but that's how I feel since I was hired to help her. I know I'll be ok and I do like the job. Just keeping my options open.

In my regular job, I make $80,000 a year. I have great benefits and I love it. On the weekends I clean hotel rooms for minimum wage because I need to fill the empty time in my life. If I don't keep busy I feel like I will slide into a pit of loneliness and depression.

DH's job is changing a bit and he'll work from home one or two days a week. He claims he will get stuff done at home while I'm at work, but I highly doubt it. I also just want him gone sometimes. Too much of him is not always a good thing.

In response to a confession. You should have added the totally legit Omgs too. Oh no! Someone disagreed with me! Quick, spam the omg button! LOL

I think my boss finally gets it. I get back from my vacation and he says, about Elderly CW, "She annoyed the shit out of me every day while you were gone." And then provided examples and details that sounded all too familiar. Welcome to my world, dude. Alas, he'll never fire her. One of my worst fears is her dropping dead at her desk, or hearing a big THUD in the bathroom and having to go find her in there, or her not showing up here and I go check on her and find her dead in her house. Or some, "I've fallen and I can't get up!" situation. *sigh* Seriously, she's almost eighty. She has Dr's appts (which I get to hear about in great detail) at least twice a week. She's a nice enough lady, but she needs to retire.

In response to a confession. If that's the worst part of your job, stay. Honestly, there are potty mouthed people wherever you're going to work. I work in a very male-dominated field and if I quit because the guys I work with swear a lot, there'd be no jobs. If you've been without a job since March 2017, I'd stay a while because it looks bad if you leave a job after only a little while after being unemployed for a long time.

Been at my job since July 30th after being out of work since March 2017. I'm learning a lot. We're a company that sends out Techs to do drug sceens. We're under staffed, we're in a tiny building, but the worst is my trainer. She's a nice loving woman, but she cusses out loud all day long. F this, shit, damn, stupid m'fers, etc. I've never seen such a thing. She talks like this around anyone and everyone pretty much. They let her because she's smart and knows her job inside and out. She is really good at her job! I just can't take it. I've been applying to other jobs. We'll see.
