In response to a confession. Have you seen that episode of The Office, where Creed becomes the boss, so Pam gives him the "assignment" of looking at two pictures of the building and finding the differences, only there are no differences? Maybe she could do something like that all day, lol.

OMG! You know the lady that smells like a period everyday? She had to go next door. Usually she stays and visits for a while. I sprayed some spray and she came back right away. She's also allergic to every scent known to man. She was like, "Who sprayed? Y'all know I'm allergic and can't take scents like that!" Well, I can't take you smelling our tiny office up like a damn period!!!!!

In response to a confession. This reminded me of something that happened years ago. I had a new friend who was doing makeup at a HUGE 2-day event. I used to do m/u professionally, so she asked if I wanted to join her as her assistant. There was going to be another professional MUA there too. Then my friend had something come up, and asked if I would just take her place. I'd get $50 per face. So we get there, and I'm bangin' faces out since we're on a time crush. I was doing 2-3 faces for every one of the other girl's. Next thing I know, the director of the m/u team pulls me aside, says the other girl feels since I'm not a professional MUA, I shouldn't be making as much money as her. I was ordered not to do any more. Even though we shared a room (btw she was from out of town and I hosted her at my house for two nights), the other girl didn't talk to me the rest of the event, and THEN tried to have the room billed to me! My friend was so embarrassed about the whole thing she ended up ghosting me.

In response to a confession. I'm so glad our CEO gets this...I will get a $10-$15K bonus next year on top of my salary. He believes that it's the people that make the company a success and gives out amazing bonuses. I feel truly blessed considering that my last job gave out cupcakes (that I was allergic to) as employee appreciation gifts.

Every now and then, the director of my department will walk around and hand out candy to "show how much the company appreciates you all." I hate it. It's degrading. It infantalizes us. The CEO appreciates me? Give me a bonus. Screw your M&Ms.

At our dept meeting we always start out with an ice breaker. The question asked was If you won the lottery with alot of money. after you take care of your family and yourself what would you do with the rest of the money. Everyone said they'd give it to some type of charity I said I'd give some to my friends (co-workers) to help with their bills. I don't trust any chariy and will only help those who I know need it.

In response to a confession. I am the lazy idiot poster. The weird part is, the boss really appreciated knowing he could count on me at first. Then he turned on me.I dont understand why a boss would turn on someone who made his job easier. Anyway,I got a text today from one of my former coworker- a decent worker but he does have a bit of an attitude and little patience. He said he missed working with me. Anyway, at my next job, I will still be a good worker, but, like you said not work myself or anyone else out of a job.

I worked at a factory about a hundred years ago. When I started, I was shocked at how low the quotas were for production. All I had to do was try- just a little- and I crushed the quotas by leaps and bounds. Yeah, the people there working with me on the production lines hated my guts within the first week of my employment. I learned pretty quickly to develop at least some semblance of the same pace as everyone else. If there were ever any rush jobs, they were given to me. But other than that, I didn't want to have my coworkers hate me or work myself (or anyone else) out of a job so I slowed my ass down.

In response to a confession. When you work harder than everyone else, the thing is that people don't like it. You make them feel bad, you make them look bad. You also probably show your resentment of others whether you know it or not. They probably know that you think they are lazy idiots. If the boss got rid of the laziest worker, the whole team might turn on him, but if he gets rid of you, everything will most likely be peaceful. Go somewhere where they will appreciate you!
