I'm a Realtor. Team Leader brought a new guy onboard last week. He's been in sales and was "hungry to make $." So far, three leads she's given him have been passed on to me. 1. He was confirmed to show homes to clients. He tried to call them in the AM & didn't connect, so he said he wasn't wasting his gas to meet them if he didn't know for sure that they'd show up. I live MUCH further away & still went. 2. TL asked him if he was avail to show homes the next day. His response: "Well it will have to be later in the day bc I'm going out dancing and won't be home until 4am. This is my only entertainment until I start making regular money. I also haven't been on vaca since 2015." Huh? FYI, I went to sleep at 4am but still showed them homes at 11am & haven't been on vaca since 2013. 3. He refused to call a lead bc he'd texted them the day before. Really?! Thanks for the ~$900,000 in sales, you idiot!

I'm really glad my SIL got a new prestigious job, but I really hate how braggy she is about how much she makes and how great her insurance is. It's in bad taste, IMHO. Especially when she knows the rest of us have shitty insurance plans with high deductibles and small networks.

I have almost simultaneously interviewed for 2 jobs, and I think I have a good shot at both. Problem? I only want 1 of them, but I think the one I don't want will offer first. Should I take it, in case the other one falls through? If the good one makes me an offer I would reneg on the first one. Thoughts?

I hate when Excel gets cheeky. "We can't do that to a merged cell". Oh YEAH?? Wanna bet?

Everyday, my ex would complain about his soul-sucking, but good paying job. I need to let it go and stop stalking him, but I'm happy to learn that he quit his job to start his own business. That takes courage.

I'm feeling guilty about quitting my job. I'm handing in my letter of resignation on Monday and I know it's going to royally hurt the company. It's a small medical office that refuses to sell out to the large health network in town. I play an integral role and they will be screwed in about 50 different ways. I just can't take it anymore. They take, take, take and the pay is way below my pay grade. I found a better job, and I'm happy about it, but Monday is gonna be rough, mostly because my boss is going to cry and guilt trip me. I just hope the next 2 weeks go by fast.

I'm turning in my letter of resignation next week and I'm not sure what to tell my boss. I know she's going to confront me and want an explanation. The truth is, I enjoy my job. The only thing I dislike, and the reason I'm leaving, is because she makes snarky, passive aggressive comments to me. She only does it when she has an audience. It feels like grade school bullying. I know that if I tell her the truth it will be cathartic (I mean, my nickname for her is thundercunt), but my last two weeks will be hell. I would like to just quietly leave, but I don't think she'll let me. The Regina Georges of the world don't work that way. Ugh.

In response to a confession. My first day at the new job was insane. The second day was also equally insane. I'm starting to have second thoughts about this, but it's too late to go back now. I'm stuck with it.

In response to a confession. That would be wildly unprofessional. If they ask why op thought they weren’t happy with the service is she supposed to cite the tiny tip? Unfortunately when you work a job like that you’re gonna get stiffed sometimes... that’s life. you don’t confront people and essentially ask them why they didn’t give you more money.

For the love of all things holy, I hate the process of getting a reformulation approved by our stupid marketing team. I finally got my product to taste right, but now they question whether we NEED to do the reformulation or not. Quality and myself agree that we do because the current product gets clumpy and gums up the auger that fills the bottles. So now we have to sit there and audit a run of the current stuff and time how long it takes them to clean the auger off, take pictures of the clumps, etc. to prove how bad the current version is. I swear their only job is to make mine harder.
