Grants submitted right before the deadline. Ugh, I don't know how I feel about them. Hope it was at least somewhat decent. I only had about week to do it as well as working on other things. My procrastination and perfectionism sabotage me quite often.

Hey when you get an email with a PDF attached that has an instruction sheet with an address, and a two page tax form... and the email says , "Please print, sign & mail this form prior to the end of this month." .. What do you suppose that means you're supposed to do with it? What's that? Don't bother to open the PDF at all? Like, EVERY QUARTER since second quarter of 2018? OMG people! I love doing payroll and sales taxes. I love math and number puzzles and I LOVE the work I do at my job. I don't even mind 15 pages of instructions for a form that should take ten minutes to fill out, not when there are 10 new lines on the form. But this babysitting and hand-holding fucking SUCKS. You're an adult. I shouldn't have to explain to you that when the email says PRINT AND SIGN AND MAIL this form.. that maybe you should .. yanno.. print the fucking form, sign it, and mail it. Jesus. I'm having a day, folks.

Well guys, our bone broth chocolate protein shake was a bust with the tasting panel. They said it was as good as it probably could have been, but even that was not what they had "envisioned" for the product. To be fair, it was insanely hard to get powdered bone broth fortified with bitter alpha lipoic acid and a ton of very bitter B-vitamins taste very good when you can't use sugar or MSG and have to use only a handful of select flavors that are organic/all natural. I'm bummed, but my boss thought our product was really good. Maybe they'll reconsider letting us use sugar and we'll revive it someday.

Would you be concerned if a small coffee distribution company is not requiring it's works to wear masks? That seems like a no brainer that everyone should be required to wear masks especially if these are items shipped to customers across the states.

In response to a confession. Thanks for all the input guys! We couldn't do a nut-flavored one because almost every natural nut flavor contains real nuts and we didn't want to put any allergens in the product. So no peanuts or tree nuts. What we settled on were: Chocolate-cherry, chocolate coconut caramel, chocolate toffee and chocolate praline. The president of the company is taste-testing them next week, so send positive vibes y'all!

In response to a confession. I'm so sorry you're going through this, and I truly empathize. I had a coworker who preached Zen and treating others with kindness, when she actually did NOT. She spoke terribly to and downright screamed at clients, vendors, others in the office and our team members - especially me - and the boss wouldn't do anything about it. I eventually had a breakdown because of her and left shortly after. She was the meanest, most aggressive and vile persons I've ever known in my life. I actually DO know witchcraft, but I only do white magick. Black magick, hexes, torture spells and the like will only reflect that back to you three times. (Rule of Three.) Voodoo/Hoodoo are closed practices, only handed down through generations <- just a little PSA. I know you don't want to, but send the bully love from your heart chakra.

I have constantly struggled with finding a career that makes me happy and I've bounced around a bit job-wise. What if I didn't have my personal identity so closely tied to my occupation. What if I had a stable job that I just clock in and clock out which allowed me to leave work at work. Then maybe I would have time to be explore my creativity or more time to work on relationships because I do want to eventually start a family. My birthday is next month and I'm feeling lost and like I'm getting "up there." Do you feel your sense of self is closely tied to your job? Do you have an active life outside of work? Just needing some inspiration.

What flavors do you think would pair well with chocolate? So far, my contenders are toffee, praline and mocha. I already tried caramel, hazelnut, almond and S'more and all of those sucked. I'm getting some fruity samples to play with and I'm thinking orange or cherry or raspberry. Or maybe coconut? We're getting close to making it taste really good anyway. Well, as good as a beef bone broth based protein shake can taste I guess.
