What flavors do you think would pair well with chocolate? So far, my contenders are toffee, praline and mocha. I already tried caramel, hazelnut, almond and S'more and all of those sucked. I'm getting some fruity samples to play with and I'm thinking orange or cherry or raspberry. Or maybe coconut? We're getting close to making it taste really good anyway. Well, as good as a beef bone broth based protein shake can taste I guess.

In response to a confession. I was looking the other day and there was a company hiring two different managers. Both positions required a bachelor's degree and three years of experience. It pays $23,000 a year. WTF.

In response to a confession. When a company makes billions of dollars in profit and pays their employees so little that the government (that means you and me) has to give them benefits like food stamps just to survive, then, yes, that should be criminal. I don't understand how people aren't infuriated that they are paying to take care and feed people while the billionaires they work for buy more yachts. I don't understand how people aren't infuriated that thousands of small, family businesses have closed during this pandemic while multi-billion dollar companies get government bail outs.

In response to a confession. Hold up. So you posted a picture to shame people because it supposedly proved they were breaking the rules, but then found out the picture didn't prove shit and you were basically reprimanding people for nothing? During a pandemic? During a time when millions are losing their jobs? And you want people to calm down and not be mad? Am I reading this right? You owe those employees a huge apology.

I got a notice to report for jury duty this coming Monday, told my boss I won't be in office on Monday. Then just saw that I have to check back on my status Monday after 5pm. I could technically still work, but really want to just use the day as PTO and maybe take a short day trip somewhere. Been so overworked and stressed lately. What would you do?

At work, with all the cancellations for events our budget has been cut a ton. What process would you make for staffing decisions in light of our budget shrinkage? I’m feeling really stuck here!

Wow. Just had a client straight up tell me he didn't want to sit down and have an appointment with me (even though I'm the one managing and doing all the work on his account) because I'm not a man. He wants to talk to my boss, a man. A man that isn't familiar with his account at all. So THIS is awesome. I swear to God, you can't make this shit up. Fucking ridiculous.

In response to a confession. I would be pissed too, if my job posted a bogus "gotcha" photo that turned out to be false. It's stressful as hell right now as an essential employee. That was a real shitty thing to do to people who are already stressed during a pandemic. Why not just send out a friendly reminder, detailing the company's policy?

Ahh, the new world of Zoom. I've done Zoom Meditation (awesome), Zoom Trivia Night (through an affiliation - wasn't that fun, left early) and will do Zoom Yoga today. We just started using Zoom at work and I'm trying got get more familiar with the program and all its features. We plan to host a huge online conference in two months, I'm organizing an forum next week that already has 100 sign ups and trying to not get nervous. I'm wondering what have you taken on Zoom? What worked well and what didn't so work? Thanks so very much for sharing, CCC. :)
