Hi. Well, in my defense since I wasn't clear in my post, i was just venting in general. My post wasn't directed directly at you/your post. After I read the posts it got me thinking and I was jotting down my thoughts. My mind is all over the place lately for so many reasons and I know the health care insurance is a hot issue for us all. I didn't mean any disrespect or insensitivity, my apologes. The ACA is definitely not perfect, but i just wish the current administration could see we are all hurting.

It isn't unusual for military personnel to keep their mouths shut about the president. My friend's son served in the military under Bush after 9/11. He's a nurse and part of his job was providing counseling for combat stress in Afghanistan. He never said a word about the president while he was deployed, but afterward... ooh boy. He despised the Bush administration. He said most of the guys he counseled who were suicidal or homicidal hated Bush, too. But if they spoke out against their commander in chief they could be court marshalled.

I complained about my coworker, "this bitch" and her entitled self when it came to social media and awards. Yesterday my supervisor called me while on vacation and told me they removed her social media admin rights and I was in charge of Facebook and Twitter until he gets back next week. We're a government agency and we just got two way media approved a few months ago. Apparently she said something inappropriately snarky to a customer. Yikes. My supervisor is really easy going most of the time so this must be serious. I don't like her much but I hope she doesn't lose her job or anything. I don't think she's a bad person, just kinda tone deaf and emotionally unintelligent. I also hope this gets resolved because I hate doing social media. So, yeah, sympathy mixed with self interest, lol.

You aren't wealthy, neither are about 99% of us on this forum, but the wealthy are! And if you aren't paying for the lazy (lol) and illegals (lie), you're paying into, to the very wealthy. The same wealthy that strips it from your senior citizen family members. Our new administration is becoming Venezuela's govt. Keep focused here in the U.S.. PS, you won't be able to afford your own insurance anyway. The insurance carriers are gonna have a field day and surely raise premiums and limit coverage to your preexist condition, for common things such as anxiety! and severe menstrual cramps! The insurance industry will eventually run the town.

Single payer healthcare in the US (think Bernie Sanders plan or something similar to England's healthcare) would cost $15 Trillion over 10 years. That's a lot. And that's what people opposed freak out about. What they don't understand (or know) is that this would actually cost LESS that the ten-year cost of our current system. The savings of cutting the insurance and administrative waste and reducing pharmaceutical prices to what the rest of the world pays would more than cover that $15 Trillion. We could provide health insurance for every.single.person in the US for LESS than we pay for healthcare now. But the people who could make this happen don't care. They have awesome, free (paid for by you, the taxpayers) healthcare AND are becoming millionaires thanks to the pharmaceutical and insurance companies, who pay them to keep things the way they are.

I don't think 45 is showing onset of Alzheimer's. I think he's like you said, of low intelligence simply because he was born w/ silver spoon in his mouth and everyone did everything for him for his whole life. He always had an entourage of scholars, attorneys, business men, executives, you name it..to do his work. He doesn't know how to work, or learn things, he just knows how to pay (and even that is wrong since he doesn't pay his bills) people to think and work for him. Except this time he hired the wrong people for his administration because they all are fucking numbnuts.

I know we are shooting (no pun intended) at each other right now but I am hoping you will answer me truthfully, but i am genuinely and seriously curious, what has this 45 administration done for YOU thus far? Seriously asking.

It's past the point of being compassionate. I've been there and done that. She drives me batshit crazy. I don't wish death on her, and I rant and vent on here in an effort to NOT flip out on her because she is a very nice DLOL. She needs to be a retired DLOL. Her presence is so distracting it's insane. She literally cannot send an email attachment without my help. Respect my elders. Please. You have no idea what I'm dealing with. I need an assistant. Badly. Another reason she drives me nuts. I look at her sitting there doing nothing, the opposite of helpful, while I'm drowning in fucking data entry... that an admin should be able to help me with. I can't even start my actual work because I have to do the data entry first. But she can't do it. I've tried to show her an hundred times. She cannot do it. I wish my boss would just deal with this.

The religious extremist who believes in torturing gay teens with conversion therapy funded by tax dollars. The zealot who tried to force HB 1337 on the citizens of Indiana. The moron who fucked education in my state when he was governor. He openly wants anyone who isn't a rich, white, male Christian under his thumb. This is not an improvement. In many ways, it's worse, because no one suspects him of being capable of disgusting fuckery. Yeah, Trump is a fuckwit, but we're fucked either way until we have a decent administration.
