Some people don't think Karma is real, but I do. I notice that people who treat me bad end up having bad things happen to them shortly after. Someone abused me, they got cancer. One person assaulted me, their spouse divorced them and took their kid away. Another slept with my BF at the time,then she ended up homeless with her kid living in a hotel, exbf went to jail. Another had a heart attack soon after being abusive. A boss allowed a coworker to pick on me, say vile things to me and scream at me...in fact she scheduled us together all 5 days the same shift for months. I cried to her about it affecting my health several times. I was told to suck it up. I told the owners, then quit. They both got fired. Coworkers bf broke up with her, boss's husband died unexpectedly in his sleep.

I don’t know, when you are mad deep in love with someone,...I get it. I get not being able to let them go. They are in your heart and soul. Regardless if they are in physical presence. They are fucking there with you. I too am pining for an old flame, and perhaps I’m saying this ^ to justify my pining and love (And pain apparently) for someone of my past. And i won’t apologize for it, nor let it go. It’s my nature to love this hard. Plus it’s also my life to live, which overall is quite stable and fairly happy. ((Shrugs))

I don't "pine" for my first bf, but I do admit I wonder "what if" alot. We dated for 7 years and his family abruptly moved away (military). We both have moved on and grown up since then but he still a piece of my heart. Oh well.

Got the test results back from yesterday’s ER visit....the one for heart damage was FOUR times higher than the norm! And the test for kidney disease was a high positive. Oh, and my hemoglobin is 6.5! Not that I wanted to stay, but I believe I should have been admitted. I think hospitals are getting people in and out ASAP right now. I walked in at 9:37 a.m. Discharged at 11:41.

My doctor friend suspects Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, a pressure problem in the lungs. I’ve been tested for Congestive Heart Failure and diagnosed with atrial fibrillation, but things have worsened. I did some research and thought maybe the sleep aid I was prescribed three months ago is the cause. So I didn’t take my dose, and slept from 10 pm to 2 am...and woke up gasping for air. It’s 3 am now, and when DH gets up I’ll plan to go to the ER.

What does he think your problem is? Shortness of breath especially if it's extreme can be a symptom of a heart attack, but it could also be anemia. That's why it's probably best to actually go in instead of relying on a friend's advice unless that friend is a specialist who happens to know all your medical history. Go in if you aren't well--if it is a heart attack it can be really bad if you don't go in right away.

I just want to cry. But I’m scared if i start, i won’t stop. So much on my brain and heart I can’t keep up.

I'm a healthcare worker. I'm a little over this "hero" business. Most of us are showing up because that's our job. We do this day in and day out. We're not doing anything that much out of the ordinary except for the sheer volume of it has been overwhelming. But yeah, this is the kind of work we do. Dirty, sometimes dangerous, seeing people die pretty regularly. I'm not downplaying the pandemic at all. But the maudlin, sappy videos I've been getting sent lately (replete with country music and patriotic hands-over-heart bullshit) is getting nauseating. Instead of videos how about donating some things to those in need? How about helping your elderly neighbor with groceries? How about stop fighting about politics on Facebook? How about supporting those in need ALL THE TIME instead of just when it makes you look good?

The fucking Bernie Bros... if Trump wins, the blame is going on them. So disheartening to see all the Bernie followers saying they'll either vote for Trump or won't vote at all. Not really surprised, though.

One of my friends lives in NJ, right where there is a ton of COVID-19 cases. Her kid has a heart condition and she is still taking him out places and whining about how everything is closed. People like her are exactly why I'm starting to really....not like people anymore.
