I was talking about paint earlier and my messed up kitchen. Wow, I am so seriously sorry that someone was offended by my post! Uh, no it was not the most serious thing I had to complain about. Did you not read my earlier post? I had just gone through a seperation. Money was tight and wow, I just wanted my place to look nice. I couldn't get it right and was wasting hard earned money on paint. It sucked. Sorry if you think my plight wasn't worth complaining about. And honestly, I was being pretty light hearted with my confession.

My brother and SIL's children are always sick. They never keep the children at home to rest and get better. It does not matter what is wrong with them they still go run around to parties, visiting family, shopping, movies. You name it, they still do it with sick kids. Both children constantly have a runny nose. They took both kids to my mom's because they needed to do something without the kids. My 3 yr old niece was running a fever and so sick she was limp. My 4 yr nephew's throat was so sore he wouldn't talk. My mom finally convinced them to take the kids to urgent care at about 7 that night. They only had the Dr. see my niece and not nephew even though he was already there. Niece had a Upper Respiratory Infection and an ear ache while running a temp of 103.5. My mom called the next day around 2 pm and they still had not gone and got the child's antibiotics. They finally got them that evening on the way to go out to eat and go shopping with both sick children. In the past 4 months my mom has had the children 4 times while they both had horrible vomiting and diarrhea. Once a month both get a stomach virus that just doesn't last a day or two. It will last at least a week. Knowing they are having stomach problems they will still take the kids to my mothers and with no change of clothes. My sister had a tooth ache and she had her mother and my mother taking turns watching the kids so she could rest for days but those poor babies never get to stay home and rest. They leave the house around 8 every morning and most nights don't get home till after 10. Those babies are exhausted all the time. My niece has huge dark circles under her eyes at 3. That is not normal! I have talked to CPS and was told that the children are being fed, clothed and roof over their head, no physical abuse and therefor there is nothing CPS can do for the children. Unless they are is immediate physical danger then the children are fine where they are. My heart hurts for the them.

I'm the OP who's BFs mom is overbearing. He actually is a great catch. He's a gentleman who proves that chivalry isn't dead, he treats me good, dotes on me, gives me all the affection I could ever want, does things for me (making dinners, house work, fixing things). He has an insanely high student loan payment (so does his brother, thats why they live at home). Just because someone doesn't have the money to live on their own right now (he lived on his own during college though) because of bills, doesn't make him a bad guy. He jumps when his mom wants him to because he feels he owes her for letting him stay there while he pays off his student loans. He's got 3yrs left on them. I love his mom, she's a wonderful woman, she's done things for me and I've done things for her...but she really just needs a man of her own. She's lonely and asks things of my BF because she knows he'll do it, she doesn't bother with his brother because he's lazy and fights with her so he doesn't have to do anything. I stayed over there last night, him and I did have sex this morning. If anyone thinks that the amount of money a person has is what makes then a good or bad catch, then they're shallow and clearly values people by how fat their pockets are. My BF pays all of his bills, on time. He doesn't make a lot, but it'd be a bad financial decision for him to live on his own...he'd end up going into default with his student loans. He has a good heart and tries his best to please everyone. I love him for who he is, not what he has.

I hate developers! Mowing down every hill they can find to build a million more houses to add to the already crowded roads and freeways, and adding to the depletion of resources. Greedy and heartless.

Honestly I think my MIL treats my kids differently because of me. DH & I started dating when we were 18 and his mom has just never been warm and fuzzy towards me. No clue why. His sister and brother's significant other's are always treated like royalty. Me? Regifted me my own Christmas gift one year. She even treats the girl who has broken BIL's heart to pieces twice better than me. Oh well. My kids have my parents who treat them well-so they know Grandma S. isn't treating them right.

My parents have been helping at there church for years. They have giving of their time and money freely from their hearts, without ever expecting anything in return. But now, the time when my mom could have used a helping hand in a much needed time of need, people at the church weren't there for her. She didn't say anything about it, but I'm sure she is wondering why. I'M wondering why. Isn't that what church people do for others, especially one of their faithful parishioners? Myself and her family were there for her, but it just goes to show you can't count on anyone. smh

It's going to be hard to work there after he leaves. I will have to accept that one day I will go to work, and he won't be there anymore. To look up and not see him, to not look for him anymore, to not see him at break, to not talk to him anymore. The memories of him, to look around and know I'll never see his face there, ever again. And I will never, ever see him again. I almost wish I never met him in the first place. I never thought I'd feel heartache like this again, it's ridiculous and I'm too old for it. I can't believe this happened to me, why?!?!

I don't understand how I could be feeling this way. It's not like me, it's not right, I am confused. I don't believe you could be in love with someone you don't know. DH and I have been married for so long and it's been tough at times; esp lately. I found out he had a profile for a dating website, and has looked at teen porn (18-19 yrs, but he is ignorant and truly believes that is their age - I've heard they could have fake IDs) there's no point in talking to him - he'll deny it. Anyway my heart has hurt so much over this. I don't like to look at other men, but I started to. So this guy at work and I share a common interest and I started to have feelings for him that are driving me insane. It's not me at all, so why is this happening? I want it to stop but it just won't. It's consumed me so much I can't imagine not being with him one day - but even if I could, there's so many obstacles. It'll never happen, but I can't accept it. How did my life turn into this? DH and I used to be so amazing. I keep wondering if one day he'll be arrested for this teen porn thing. I go on his computer to see if he ever looks at underage, but it doesn't look like it. I fantasized that he went to jail and I was able to be with my co-worker, but... I feel like a horrible, wretched person.

DH's aunt is visiting. SIL's two year old is here. He runs around screeching, throwing things... and DH's aunt oozes about how cute he is. My five year old was running around playing with him and getting a little loud and she proceeds to pull him aside and give him a lecture on inside voices. I want to cry for my son right now. He looked so heartbroken because my SIL's toddler was being loud too.
