He confessed that a drunk girl at a party tried to kiss him six months ago. He pushed her away and left. I accepted this. Then, in trying to reassure me further, he told me she was ugly and fat and everyone was watching. Almost tongue-in-cheek I said 'What if she were thin and pretty and you were alone?' After 30 awkward seconds he mumbled a halfhearted 'No, of course not.' I don't want to overreact but I don't want to hang around for that opportunity to present itself to him. I don't know what to think. Advice, please? Would this bother you? I'm 29, he's 25.

The community I moderate has been at each other's throats because of some really sensitive and polarizing subjects as of late. We thought we'd have a fun April Fool's post and of course, after 132 comments of light-hearted fun, someone is offended because someone else said "I am triggered by the word trigger." SIGH. For once, can the lot of you stfu? I'm all for social justice topics, but just bow out instead of raining on the entire parade. We actually had folks that were ready to kill each other last week joking around.

Made dinner roomies for the first time! Made bean and veggie soup perfect for the rain. Then baked 8 little heart-shaped egg casseroles with broccoli, red potatoes, turkey bacon, red bell pepper, green onions, and asiago cheese. Bought two silicone molds today for 1.50 each!

One reason I will never marry again is that I will never again take care of a seriously ill man. I would have been better off being his girlfriend instead of his wife. He didn't support me, yelled at me all the time, drank, got violent with me, and insisted he was leaving his kids all his money when they were nowhere around to help us. If I'd been his girlfriend, I could have left at the first "eff you" instead of sticking around for 5 more years till I could afford to leave the jerk. I would have been better off if he'd died from his heart attack. So glad to be an ex...

In my gym co-worker's sorta defense, he could have simply forgotten my name (uncommon and got introduced last week) and maybe didn't know what to say when he saw me. He was entering the gym at around 7 am with the co-worker and I didn't see them. I wondered if he noticed my scowl when I gave them a half-hearted wave?

After leaving the gym today, one of my (new-ish) co-workers yelled out,"Bye sweetheart!" He is a pretty nice guy, but doesn't seem like he generally does his job and being called a, "sweetheart" made me feel weird.

Honestly, I think I have rage at whatever God there may be that I have acted in good faith my entire life but have gotten so little love in terms of relationships in return. I've suffered, I've tried, I've mended, I've changed...I've done everything I can in the best way I can, but I am still alone in all areas of my life. It's not that I think that I am "OWED" love, but I do think that loving and being loved in return is a big part of why we're on this earth. And I am livid at this point that such love has escaped me my whole life. I am not an unlovable person! WTF?! I simply don't know what more I can possibly do. I feel like I must really just be the ugliest, worthless, most unlovable person on the planet that no one has found in in their hearts to want to be with me.

DH is still in contact with the woman he had an affair with. I am heartbroken. I found out this morning. I thought we could fix us. Now I am not sure. Marriage counseling tomorrow, first appointment. So sad

OMG people, give it a damn rest. This is not an "extension of the facebook group". One of the ladies that is in the group, put this page together, OUT OF THE KINDNESS OF HER HEART because everyone was bitching complaining that truu was "done for", and people "really missed it." You don't have to stick around here. Don't like it, there is an "X" in the upper right corner. Use it, or STFU.

Dh's family loves our son. They ask about him, play with him when we visit, and are overall nice grandparents to him. My family absolutely adores him. My inlaws are happy to see pictures occasionally while my family almost demands at least one picture daily. My family would gladly babysit him almost any time (within reason) simply for the chance to spend time with him while dh's parents would only agree to have us "owe" them something later, or to tell everyone else he spent the whole time begging them to adopt him. It breaks my heart that when dh gets out of the military we will be living in the same state as his family and so very far from mine... We've talked about moving to my state but dh has said there are certain things about it he really doesn't like, and I think in the long run he will grow to hate living there. The only thing about his state that I'd really change is the fact that my family isn't there...
