Sorry, but no. The majority of women who seek abortion are women of color who are in a lower socioeconomic bracket. Whatever life experience you think is reality is just dead fucking wrong. Take a sociology class. Not that it matters though because ALL women deserve to have total autonomy over their own bodies. A group of cells does not trump the life of the woman, regardless of her education level, race, ethnicity, or socioeconomic standing. Making birth control more easily accessible, along with the morning after pill, is a start but women deserve total, absolute control over their own bodies just like men (and cadavers) have.

The people around me who are Trump supporters are the racist, (usually) old hicks and their pushover wives who will do whatever Hubby wants. He didn't win in our state, but this only means that there are a lot of states out there where these sorts of people are more the norm. Let's just hope the number of sane individuals outnumbers them in the real election.

The mere thought that Trump could be president scares the hell out of me. I just don't understand how anyone could find him appealing. He's one of the biggest flip-floppers ever to grace American politics. I fear for our future and the future of our children.

It's relevant because it's sexist and misogynistic. It implies that men are better at business because they don't deal with childbirth or raising children. This perpetuation of gender stereotyping is just as damaging to men as it is to women. There is no reason why men shouldn't be allowed and encouraged to take paternity leave. This is relevant because this how a potential POTUS views 50% of the American population. I've said it before and I'll say it again: I dgaf about Trump's foreign policy. His ability to spread hate and discord in the US is what worries me because idiots love to adhere to their hateful ideologies. Calling pregnancy inconvenient may not seem like much but it actually perpetuates sexism and misogyny as some kind of fucking tradition instead of what it actually is...hate.

Speaking of premonitions and political foreshadowing, has anyone had a political dream? Last night, I dreamed that Donald Trump was president and he was trying to get the NBA to change the rules of basketball to make it like HORSE so he'd understand it better. I was on a committee with Grant Hill and Michael Jordan and we were telling him it was the stupidest idea ever. And he didn't listen. I can see something like this happening--if he were elected, I doubt he'd listen to anyone, even if they were a professional at what they've been doing for years and years.

Occasionally I get into a debate on facebook. Not often, but every once in a blue moon. When the person I'm debating starts using double negatives and other bad grammar it's like a light bulb goes off in my head. "Oooh, I get it now. He's one of THOSE." 'Those' meaning, ah hell, take your pick. Gun nut, Trump supporter, religious fanatic....(whatever the debate is about) but when you throw in the bad grammar I add 'moron' to the description too. I know. Such a bitchy and superior attitude. *hangs head* My name is Hanginin and I'm a grammar nazi.

DH and I were watching The Golden Girls last night. In one part of the episode, Sophia wished for a democrat to be president. I was joking around, saying "See! Sophia Petrillo makes shit happen!" because Bush Sr. was in office at the time and Clinton won the next election. Later in the episode, in a dream where Dorothy is on Jeopardy, she meets Merv Griffin. She gushes over him, saying "I love you! You're the anti-Trump!" Political foreshadowing, folks. The Girls know all! Lol! Piss on the news networks! I'm getting my info from my Girls! (I'm kidding. Just thought this was kinda funny.)

So...if he is so great, why are so many Trump supporters feeling guilty of being a fan of his? Isn't that the biggest red flag ever?

HRC is just like every other politician who will pander to whatever corporations pay her the most money. Trump is a sexist, racist, megalomaniac who wants the position but not the job. I can't vote for them either.

I do kind of wonder what the voter turnout is going to be this year. I don't particularly love Hilary, but I think with a decent cabinet she'll do okay. Trump, on the other hand, is just plain scary. It'd be like letting a car mechanic do brain surgery....you wouldn't want to be that patient, would you?
