I do believe that actions are greater than words. However, I wouldn't mind hearing him verbalize his feelings for me from time to time. I don't think I'm alone in this desire.

Sometimes I meet men, and there is this kind of chemistry - but more like pheromones, I'm guessing. Does this happen to anyone else: that you meet someone, and don't even talk to them yet, but there's this attraction, and I have no desire to act on it, but there's something I feel - again, I haven't talked to them so its not a crush, but some energy. It could be a crush later if we talk and stuff. But I always wonder what it is - like, is it "matching" body types, or similar level of attractiveness, and I wonder if the guy feels it too? Its not that strong, its like my body is just acknowledging attraction, but its not that strong that I'd get nervous to talk to him or something. Its kinda cool and kinda weird - anyone? I never slept in my parents' bed as a child. I'm sure I would've been welcome but I just never had the desire or need to. *shrugs*

If I had to complain about a certain set at work, it'd be non-digital natives who have no desire to learn. There are people at my workplace who constantly rely on others to troubleshoot simple things about computers, email, and other programs we use DAILY instead of looking up the issue themselves or, my gosh, Googling it. Some still don't know the difference between searching for something and typing in a web address. Training has been provided, manuals have been linked...they just throw up their hands and say, "Oh, I'm just not good at this!" and wait for someone younger to cover their asses.

I need to finish the 3 crochet projects I have going on right now. But I want to buy 2 more kits I've had my eye on, and I also have a strange desire to make a quilt..... Not enough time in the day for all the things I want to do. Lol

I lost 55 lbs and have kept it off for over 4 years. A big part of that was getting rid of emotional weight, some of which I worked through with a therapist. But I also started writing down every single thing I thought about food, about my body, about other people's bodies, about sex, about exercise. Everything. Every compliment. Every criticism. Every memory of my obese mom or sister with food. Every food reward. Every food shame. Fears. Dreams. Desires. I wrote it all down. And I think I learned a TON about myself that way and worked through even more. I would recommend it to anyone trying not just to lose weight, but to keep it off. If you can't recognize how you got to whatever weight, then you're not going to be able to maintain the weight loss.

My mother was like that - over the course of the last 15 years of her life, she got a new knee, a new shoulder, and a pacemaker/defibrillator. You'd think that she'd be appreciative and get a new lease on life. I really encouraged her to try to do some kind of exercise because it was good for her heart! But she just loved to use it all as excuses for why she was "sick" and why we all had to operate according to her desires. She was so sickeningly dramatic. You should have heard her when she told me about her kidney failure - it was like she was announcing she won a prestigious award or something. SMH. I hate that shit. I cannot tolerate it. You get ONE life...! Fuck you if you're going to throw it away and not try.

Is it possible to get depressed by being married to someone who's depressed? Before I got married, I was so energetic and wanted to have fun and do a lot of things, but being married to a man who literally works, comes home and mopes and then eats and sleeps is really draining my desire to do anything. I'm on an antidepressant to help me cope with the lack of motivation, but maybe my husband's the one that needs more help.

My SIL doesn't BF and had no desire to try. I always thought it would be an instinct to want to do it, but guess not?
