Yeah well I have a friend who was a professor in a niche field in medicine. The Dean of the program was regularly recruiting students from foreign countries - not only did the students not have the prerequisites, but they were being taken ahead of American students who'd applied before them. AND the Dean was trying to force my friend to change their test scores and pass them. This had been going on well before my friend took the position. He resigned and went to the FBI, who investigated for years. Not sure where it stands now, but the fact remains that there are people out there who are "qualified" to do some really scary things. I had two friends in hs who applied to the same Ivy, one white, one Latina. The Latina got in even though she had a much lower GPA, no Honors classes and no extracurriculars. I like Bernie, too. He seems like a good person and I think he genuinely wants the world to be a better place. The problem is that establishment Democrats (the DNC, to be specific) will never accept him as the democratic candidate, so he ends up splitting the vote, thus making it easier for trump to win. I voted for him in the primaries but was forced to vote for HRC in the election, because the DNC wants the candidate that's going to represent the establishment. Bernie steamrolled HRC in the primaries, but votes don't matter, in the end. It fucking sucks. God bless America.

Yes, exactly. I consider myself pretty recovered because I do get enough calories to have a normal BMI in the low 20s but I don't eat the Standard American Diet---I tend to eat very plant based and whole foods because I will binge on most processed stuff. Yet my treatment team doesn't consider me in full recovery mode because I'm still "restricting". I don't think they quite have that term well-defined and I hate that they pretty much want to force me back to having bad skin and horrible periods and all the other crap that went along with me eating the way I did when I was heavy and non-disordered.
