I don't pray for people. I send good vibes. To me- when somebody asks you to pray for them it's predicated on the assumption that everybody is Christian, or religious of some sort. They're not! My version of praying is meditating, or doing my version of 'woodsy' meditating. Which is to be alone in the woods and really listen to and look at what's happening around me. Right down to the ants and moss. Love that feeling.

I know I've said this before but Pence is so full of shit the toilet's jealous. Fuck that religious extremist. My mother and sister claim to be kind, compassionate Christians but they are so hateful.

I had to laugh at a meme I saw on FB by one of my Trump-supporting SILs...it said something like "I am a college graduate, I am not a racist, I am not a bigot, I'm a Christian, etc., and I'm voting for Trump!". Except that my SIL never went to college. I was seriously tempted to comment something like "Oh, where did you graduate from? I didn't know you have a college degree". I would unfriend her, but she's my SIL, so maybe I'll just have to hide all her feed for a while.

Are you fucking stupid? The KKK is a radical Christian group. The Westboro Baptist Church is a radical group that thanks their spaghetti monster for dead soldiers. A radical Christian group in Grapevine, Texas held a fucking convention of idiocy making fun of the prophet Muhammad. The KKK has hooked people to trucks, beheaded them, lynched them, burnt their homes to the ground. Christian priests fucked little boys and covered it up. Shut the fuck up.

I found out recently that one of classmates that I disliked a great deal (she was sooooo mean to me, think alpha girl of a group of mean girls) got divorced. She's one of those hyper "christian" people who don't act very christiany. I had a moment of ha, you deserve to be miserable, you mean old brat.

And the fact that the CEOs of big businesses out there want dirt cheap labor, so they refuse to pay people more than the federal minimum wage, which is poverty level wages and then say "oh, well the poor aren't WORKING hard enough!" which we all know is bullshit. My aunt and uncle and their 11 kids came to visit last night from out of state. My uncle is a pastor and he's one of those Christians who make the rest of us look bad. He seems nice enough, but he started making jokes about transgendered people and illegal immigrants and the hypocrisy just made my blood boil. He's the same denomination as my equally intolerant inlaws. There's a good reason I only see them once a year or so.
