I think people use pit bulls to try to look badass. It's pathetic. It's like they're against the stigma that they're violent dogs, but they play up their bad reputation to look cool on Facebook.

I want a new puppy so bad but can't afford one right now. I want a Boston Terrier. I'm so freaking jealous of all the new baby puppies I see on facebook. My boy is getting old and gray and I just get sad thinking about the possibility of not being able to pass on his awesomeness to a new baby before he passes just because of f*cking money. Our norm is two dogs, a BT and a golden retriever and when one gets to be old, we get a new baby of that breed so they can meet and know each other before the older dog passes. So sometimes we have three dogs. I want a puppy for my boy to teach to be awesome. *sad*

I like the fact that my facebook friends that are from here, can see very clearly that I am not from here. This is such a small town. Most of my people are not from here. Probably a whole different scenario if you live in an actual city.

Since I can't bring myself to call my cousin out on Facebook, I'm gonna bitch about it here. There was a funny news story about how Elsa from Frozen has been arrested for bringing the polar vortex. He stole a pic from the news story and captioned it with funny comments made in the article, like he came up with it all himself. Fucking. Loser. At least this time nobody commented on it. Probably because they already saw the original.

Remember back in 2011, when pretty much every soccer mom you knew admitted to and joked about facebook stalking? That was cool.

Why is it so hard to grasp that there are adults now who were raised (as in, grew up, since you seem to be struggling with words) in a world that always had some form of social media? They see the world differently and, therefore, function differently, especially online. I'm 38 but I remember being able to go to my room, shut the door, and read a a Seventeen magazine. Teens now can't even remotely relate to that experience. We had chatrooms and AIM, but that was it. So, I'm with the other OPs on this. Leave the young people here alone. Looking at an ex's Instagram is the equivalent of staring at their photo in the yearbook. Jesus, Ethel. Like you've never checked out someone's profile on Facebook out of morbid curiosity.

I'm willing to bet they understand how social media works better than you (and me). This whole squabble is just making us older users look like we stand outside yelling, "Get off my lawn!" We're not superior because we grew up without Facebook. Who the hell are you to tell people how to use the internet?

It's so sad to read about what's happening at our national parks. Really makes me lose faith in humanity. I follow the alt national parks on Facebook page (because the trump admin silenced the official page) and their post about Yosemite is infuriating.

Omg my cousin copied another post- this time from Twitter- to seem cool and clever on Facebook. I'm sitting on my hands to keep from calling him out. I don't know why it bugs me. It doesn't affect me in the slightest. It's just so lame.

Unplug? Yeah, no. I use the internet to shop, pay my all my bills, and keep in contact with my family. I'm an older millennial, who can remember a world without computers and cell phones, but the idea of unplugging in 2019 is ridiculous. Believe it or not, there really is a generation of young adults who has never, not for a single day, gone without the internet. That's why some of y'all really do sound like old biddies lol. Oh, and if I'm friends with someone on social media who makes me feel bad, I do unfollow them. In fact, I deleted my Facebook account after the middle aged and older people in my family started using it to start drama.
