I have two kids. I never breastfed. No desire to. Never even tried to. I have ZERO guilt about it. My kids turned out just fine, as did I, having never breastfed either. Ladies, if you choose not to, for whatever the reason may be, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. It's your choice. No kid will be traumatized by drinking formula. My doctor was fine with it as well.

I haven't read 50 Shades and don't have any desire to, and I only know bits and pieces of what it's about from what I've read online and here. I wouldn't mind watching the movie with BF when it comes out on video though. I enjoy being tied up during sex occasionally, and also switching to the dom role sometimes. BF is very respectful and knows when to stop or when I don't want to go there at all to begin with. But this is the part that disturbs me... There are probably young girls out there that will be taken advantage of and mistreated because of this book/movie. They probably think this is what's cool and acceptable and they will feel pressure to go along with it. And there will be guys that think this is normal sexual behavior and girls should expect it. That's the fucked up part.

I've actually never seen "Frozen" and I have absolutely no desire to. Everyone who's seen it tells me I will LOVE it. I have a feeling I really won't.

It took my husband a year to become fluent in a language and I really haven't tried hard enough to learn. I need to get on with it but I have no desire to learn this particular language. I know a few key phrases and words. Enough to carry on a short conversation. It's his job to be taught by native speakers, but all I have is Rosetta stone. I need to do it. I bet I'll be proud of myself and he will love having someone to speak it to.

You know what's puzzling me lately? People you meet who don't ask you a single question about yourself. I had this with a couple of my ex-DH's friends - even throughout the 4 years we were together there were some people who didn't ask me anything about myself. Recently, my boyfriend's dad whom I just met. Really? You don't want to know ANYTHING about me? I ask YOU questions and attempt to make small talk. I offer some information about myself as to not seem guarded. And, no, I don't have any desire to sit and talk about myself all day. But still, you don't want to know anything?

I actually follow a diet similar to "Freelee the banana girl", with a few moderations...namely, I eat coconuts, avocados and nuts to make sure I am getting enough fats and omegas, she basically seems phobic of having any fat in her diet and I don't think that's healthy, nor do I have any desire to be that thin (no offense to anyone who is, it's just not something I want). I also don't stick to "mono" meals as much, I tend to eat a wider variey of fruit. There's a site called Cronometer where you can input what you eat and it gives you levels of nutrients. With a few adjustments (ie, a little extra fatty food for fat, selenium, zinc etc), a high fruit mostly raw vegan diet provides everything I need, except a couple of nutrients which are a problem with most vegan diets (ie, vitamins D and B12), so I do supplement those. I never encourage anyone to follow my diet (Freelee is an evangelist vegan nutcase and I do think she has a bit of an obsessive personality and is unhealthy) because I don't necessarily think there is one diet that suits everybody, but I've been doing it for years and I feel great. I find the worst criticisms come from people who are eating terribly. Most people who are eating a reasonable diet (be it vegan, low gi, everything in moderation, whatever) are pretty accepting once they understand the diet doesn't have to be deficient (with a few alterations, I do not agree with cutting out fats to that degree, you do get small amounts of fat from fruit but IMO it's not enough).

I wanted to try the "21 Day Sugar Detox" to helpme get rid of my desire for sweets, but it's so strict! I suppose that's the whole point, but I would sure miss my sweet coffee.

Taking 1 benadryl every night does not mean I have a habit. If it was habit forming, I would have built a tolerance to it and needed to take more than 1 tablet to get the desired effect. Even my doctor says it isn't habit forming and says it's better for people to take benadryl than the prescription sleep aids that are out now.

The Spirit of Christmas can be just as wonderful as the Spirit of Santa if that's what your family chooses. Even as a mom who love the Spirit of Santa, I absolutely agree and understand the desire to have your children understand you worked hard to buy them something because you feel they deserve it.

I am worried about my oldest daughter. She is 20 and lives with her boyfriend. He is a needy man-child. He actually is her father only 20 years younger. He accuses her of having affairs, throws tantrums when she wants to go somewhere without him, and I see her walking on eggshells around him. It breaks my heart because she is going through this. But she is an adult and all I can do is tell her I am here for her. I feel responsible for this. I let her see her dad do the same stuff to me and now she is repeating my mistakes. She spent the night at my house last night so we could go to JoAnn Fabric this morning. He called her numerous times last night whining because he was home alone. He leaves her for hours each day to go play video games with his friends and that is fine. Then today when I took her home he pulled that whole I didn't sleep last night because you weren't here. So then she feels guilty. My daughter is a brilliant young woman. She has a 4.0 in college and is transferring to a 4 year school this Spring. He doesn't even have a diploma and has no desire to get his GED. Is it horrible to wish they would break up?
