I probably wouldn't bother filing a police report either, unless it's for insurance purposes or something like that. Especially if you live in a big city. Chances of them finding the thief and your bf getting his bike back are nil.

BF went to an event after work and rode his bike since it was further away. He locked it up and was gone for less than 2 hours and a low life fuckin' ass cut this bike chain and STOLE his bike. This is his transportation to/from the train each day. I am SO devastated for him. He had this mountain bike for over 10 years and with all his moves. He is blaming himself for not leaving it in the secured bike cage at work, but I would understand why he rode his bike. He doesn't want to bother filing a police report, but shouldn't he?

It's weird to me when someone who isn't even the OP jumps out to be the "non condescending police." What a thin skin and the post isn't even about you! The OP reposted with more of the story and sounds like she hasn't been crushed by these "belittling" comments. This is a board, on the internet, not therapy! Those comments weren't harsh - it's not freaking normal that someone wouldn't feed pets for days!! Wtf? And clearly the goat farm was not a business plan - it was a ridiculous idea in the hands of this irresponsible man!! The OP has a great therapist she says and knows her way forward. A man was living in his car in front of our house for two days. My husband left him a note asking him to please move his car, but he didn't. I called the police non-emergency number and asked them to come assist him but to please not scare him. They came out and were talking to him quietly. The next time I looked out the window they were all gone. I hope they took him somewhere for help, and not to jail. If his car stays on the street it will be towed and he will have to pay to get it out of impound. Feeling guilty.

Just got a call from the police telling me my dd is in the emergency room. Alcohol poisoning. She's almost 27. She's been in trouble with alcohol for a long time. I don't know what to do? :(

Years ago, my then-boyfriend, later ex-husband rented me a townhouse. I had a black cat that I let outside to pee. One day he came home with a slash on his thigh. The vet said it looked like a knife cut. We had a tall, scary neighbor who lived next door. Once we heard screams and a woman crying. We called police but didn't follow up since my bf was into shady stuff and didn't want to get involved. A year later, the neighbor moved. My ex went into his townhouse right after scary neighbor left because he was thinking about buying it. One bedroom had an altar and bloodstains, and other markers that indicated the neighbor was into the darker aspects of Santeria. Santeria is very common where I live, they sacrifice animals, I don't agree with that but that's their religion. But I know in my heart that asshole cut my cat for his blood for some kind of ritual. I still have black cats but I never let them outside. I respect Santeria and know most santeros and followers aren't evil or dark.

My CW made the comment that "she shouldn't be a cop, she should be at home making cookies" about this police officer in Paris that tased someone in the face, because male police officers never get out of control and tase people. I told him what he said was offensive and sexist and he argued with me for an hour about how it wasn't sexist because men cook too and every time he's had an encounter with a female police officer she's been really mean to him. I even pulled up statistics from the DOJ and FBI regarding male vs female leo's violence and shootings. He said that it's made up. Wtf.

Question for Trump supporters....if millions of people illegally voted for Hillary, like he claims, why doesn't he call for another election? Also, why is he deciding to NOT release his tax info now? We know that in 2012 he paid no income tax at all. Doesn't it upset you that the police officer struggling to support his family pays more in taxes than a billionaire? How are you OK with this? And if you are not OK, then why aren't you calling him out on it?

Niece has two broken ribs, a broken orbital socket, dislocated jaw, and multiple bruises and lacerations. The 'love of her life,' aka her dealer, boyfriend and supposed assailant, has been to see her four times. She won't say he did it but her mom quietly called the police when he showed up at 3 this morning. He was arrested outside her door for meth possession (my SIL assumed he'd have something, and she was right!). He's been in prison twice for felony possession, as well as battery, domestic violence with intent to kill, car theft, and who knows what I'm forgetting. Third time's a charm because bail was set at $350,000 and the DA says he's going for life in prison!
