If someone said Obama was the equivalent of a monkey throwing its poo everywhere, some might consider that racist, because you can't equate a black person with a monkey for some reason (I've been told, also can't equate a black person with a dog). But you can say it about Trump? Because you can equate a white person with a monkey? I don't understand what's racist and what's not anymore. Whatever, don't insult monkeys.

Donald Trump, just shut the fuck up. PLEASE. Anybody who talks about the US being too political correct needs a bitch slap. To quote Neil Gaiman: I was reading a book (about interjections, oddly enough) yesterday which included the phrase “In these days of political correctness…” talking about no longer making jokes that denigrated people for their culture or for the colour of their skin. And I thought, “That’s not actually anything to do with ‘political correctness’. That’s just treating other people with respect.” Which made me oddly happy. I started imagining a world in which we replaced the phrase “politically correct” wherever we could with “treating other people with respect”, and it made me smile. You should try it. My Facebook was actually very quiet last night after the GOP debate. I was rather surprised. One of my friends was so excited to watch and ranted and raved about Trump for prez and turns out he didn't even watch. Anyone but Trump. I wouldn't be able to look at his stupid mouth for any amount of presidential term.

Re Trump - Quinnipiac University national poll was released on Thursday. It shows Trump with 20 percent of the Republican and Republican-leaning voters. In that poll, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is in second with 13 percent, while Jeb Bush is in third with 10 percent. That doesn't seem like a party that is embarrassed by Trump. 20% like what he's saying.

I don't think we need to worry about Trump, even his own party is embarrassed by him. I haven't done much research for the 2016 election, but it's still pretty early. I just got my early ballot for this year's local election and will be focusing my political interest on that for the next couple of weeks since I like to make the best, most informed decision possible.

Donald Trump is a 100% nonsense kind of guy.

I get that people like Trump because he is a "no nonsense" kind of guy, but what is his platform? i haven't heard anything from his mouth that says he will be a good candidate. He'll build a wall to keep Mexicans out is all I have heard him say. What about my taxes? What about welfare? What about war? What about legalization of marijuana? And so much more. He's horrible candidate. And person.
