Randomlancila is the most annoying thing to happen to Instagram and Tumblr. She is the whiniest most hypocritical person I have encountered online. The last straw was when she made a post saying people talking about diets is "triggering" for her and she has to unfollow people who are on diets because once when she was on one she had an eating disorder. She is all about fat acceptance but don't dare talk about diets or weight loss where she can see it!! And don't get me started on how she has a Gofundme set up because she lost her job and didn't look for another one even though she knew she was gonna lose the job.

I work in a doctor's office and I confess that the most annoying part of my job is weighing people. I get it. I hate the scale too but I have to obtain their weight. It's kind of a big part of a big deal to the doctor. You don't have to look at the scale. I don't have to tell you your weight if you ask me not to. I'm just doing my damn job. Stop with the whining, please!

The thing about weight loss is that you also have to learn to be a new size, in addition to learning how to maintain that size. You have to completely rescript your mental narrative. It's not easy. You can't fast track it.

My mother is possibly getting the gastric bypass surgery. She tells everyone including her doctor that she has tried everything to get the weight off and nothing works. She has done Advocare, many diets, exercise, every pill on the market but what she doesn't tell people is, she only attempts these things for a week maybe 2 weeks at the most. She expects to drop 50 pounds after a week of eating healthy. Even her eating healthy isn't eating healthy. I have tried to explain what she needs to eat and how much but she doesn't listen. She doesn't eat fruits or vegetables. She eats nothing but fast food or packaged food, nothing fresh and nutritious. Her healthy is not eating fries with her burger from McDonalds or getting Chili's chicken nuggets. I try to explain to her that just because it is chicken does not mean it is healthy, you have to look at how the food is prepared and cooked. She tried to tell me that the nutritional value on packaged food, she thought that you only consume 150 calories of Cheez-its if you entire box. I had to explain to her how the nutritional value works and it is 150 calories for ever 27 cheezits because it nothing for her to sit there and eat half a box in one sitting. Anytime you visit she has packages of cookies beside her chair and half eaten containers of frosting. Even if she gets the surgery she will eventually put the weight back on with those eating habits. I have seen it happen to many people. Some people do keep the weight off but if you don't eat healthy and have a healthy lifestyle the results won't last forever.

I admit, I think negatively of people who get gastric bypass. I try not to. But I assume that they are trying to find an 'easy' way to lose weight. Well, I met someone a few months ago who just had it done, and we are becoming friends. She told me how she has tried *everything*, and nothing works, and how hard this decision was for her. And how it took surgery for her to change her ways, and now she is completely committed to eating healthy and exercising. We are friends on myfitnesspal, and we starting taking walks together. Over the last few weeks, things are going downhill for her. She has stopped entering food, and she is making it to less than 30% of the walks we set up. I asked if she is OK, and she says that it is too hard to keep tracking and exercising. I'm trying to encourage her to get back into it, talk about awesome new recipes, about how nice it is outside, all that, but she just keeps saying it is too hard. And now - I can't help but thinking this validates my original opinion. <sigh> I know she is just one point of data, and that maybe this is just a bad month for her...

I'm a normal weight, but definitely have struggled with food issues all my life. I kind of want to try out Overeaters Anonymous but wonder if it's the right place for me. I'm not really an "overeater," I just obsess about food and weight a lot and never feel comfortable in my own skin. I have gone to see a therapist but can never seem to get to the root of the problem.

The problem with dildos, my wrist and/or arms tire out so fast. I need to pump to get off, vibrations aren't enough. What's a girl to do? I really need to feel the weight of a man anyway. FML.

My DH and I are going to a very fancy wedding in three weeks. He has only one really good pair of pants and he got them when he was much younger and skinnier. He tried them on a few days ago and he can squeeze them on but they look ATROCIOUS. He is trying to lose weight and has lost several pounds since the beginning of July, but he will never fit into those pants in time for the wedding. He doesn't want to buy new ones. I am very, very tempted to go shopping and buy him a new pair in the right size and just replace the old ones so he doesn't notice.

I run and lift heavy weights regularly and as a result, have a high metabolism. I need to eat between 2,000-3,000 calories per day in order to fuel my workouts and muscles. I am at the correct weight for my height and have < 20% body fat. I am so tired of the cardio bunnies and chronic dietiers at my job thumbing their nose and making snide comments at the amount of food I eat. i'm sorry that i refuse to do nothing but cardio and eat <1200 calories per day. I can run farther and faster and can lift way more weight than they can so i wish they'd stfu and mind their business.
