At work, we are encouraged to log our exercise, food, etc. on a company website that supposedly gives us rewards. It sucks. They make it so complicated and it's almost like if you already live a healthy lifestyle, you don't get any points/rewards--they only give you points if you lose weight, which is not something I need to do. They say they want us to exercise more, but there is no incentive. I know it helps some people, but most of us just get annoyed with it.

OP of the PT complaint. Thank you for the input, and you're right - I didn't mean to sound like a baby about the exercises. I do them, and they are valuable, and I absolutely don't want to be reinjured. But in addition to marathon training (1-3 hrs/day) and the upper body and core exercises I do on alternate days, it doesn't leave me much room to also do true lower body strength routines, and I'm getting frustrated. Plus, my body will eventually stop responding to the same exercises day in and day out. I'd like to shake up the routine, make it harder, and yes - hopefully do some kind of maintenance program. I'm done with PT, bu they didn't give me a plan for moving forward, and I'm gonna go crazy if I have to do these same little 2 lb weight exercises forever. KWIM?

I am 30 pounds overweight. I know I should eat right and exercise but there are days where I don't exercise or eat as well as I should. On these days I weigh myself after dinner. If I weigh more than two pounds from the weight I was that morning I make myself throw up. There are even days where I do well and still more than two pounds...I throw up. I'm a mess.

My DH pulled the bait and switch on me. When we dated, we had sex at least every other day, usually 2x per day. That was five years ago and we are in our late 20s now and married. We have sex maybe 3x a month. I try to initiate more but he just laughs it off like oh you are so funny let's do something else. It so depressing and ego crushing. I'm 5 7 and 130 lbs so it's not a weight thing. He doesn't have ed issues. Just feel like I got scammed BC our sex life was great when dating and it feels like I have the sex life of a 50 yo and I'm not even 30. Tried taking to him but nothing changes. :(

If only you knew how common it is for married couples to not have sex for more than 6 months or YEARS! And I'm not referring to a "frigid wife/horny husband" or "I just had a baby/gained weight/" set up. I mean healthy, sexually active women whose husbands won't give it up due to low libido, cheating, ED, etc. Unfortunately, I'm one of these women. :( My husband and I are very loving and affectionate, even playful with each other; however, we really only have sex a few times a year, and even then, it has to be planned or on special outings/occasions. We have tried counseling, plans to do it on our own at least once a week, and it never lasts for long. I masturbate A HELLUVA LOT, and it's great, but it's not the same as having sex with my husband. This has been since the beginning of our relationship of almost 15 years. I don't know how much longer I can hold out the hope that we'll one day have a semi-active sex life. I may be a divorcee in a year. For those marrieds who have a "normal" sex life, BE GRATEFUL. By "normal," I mean you have sex twice a week or more!

I have been traveling Europe, attended college, married to a great guy, wrote a book and has even skydived! The problem? I still feel like a horrible person because I am overweight.

I am losing weight for my kids. When you're so fat you avoid doing things with the kids you've hit your low. The only way I have is up. (The scale down)

My Dad is 82, he has recently lost a lot of weight-about 50 pounds, is now quite thin, but he feels ok, and his doctor does not seem concerned. He said "Next time you come over, I am going to take off my shirt, and show you what I look like and shock you" I honestly do not know what to make of that. He has a history of attention seeking and manipulative behavior, and does not take care of himself.

I had a cousin who would "overhear" the things that other relatives were saying to one another and tell them. I remember her telling me of a discussion that my dad and uncle were having about my weight. Basically, my uncle made fun of my being obese (at the time) and my cousin thought it was so nice to tell me this. I told her that she talks too much and then my relatives took her side and that she was "helping" me about my weight.Funny the "help" they gave me was just putting me down without any tips on nutrition or exercise. It wasn't until I moved far away from these jerks did I lose the weight once I realized I wasn't this pathetic person and I deserved better than them. I didn't hate myself because I was fat but because I believed the horrible things they said about me. Once I realized I deserved the good and healthy food and not that crap I ate did I lose weight. I went home and that congratulated THEMSELVES on my weight loss by saying their talks helped me. Boy, did I rip into everyone....
