For the first time in forever, I had a really GOOD Friday the 13th. Maybe 2017 isn't as bad as I thought it would be.

You don't care about it because you don't think it's directly affecting you, but when all the bees die off because they have no habitat and can't pollinate your food crops, your opinion might change. Global warming is just a symptom of more horrendous things going wrong with the planet--a sort of benchmark. All the deforestation, fossil fuel consumption, and habitat destruction we're doing is starting to catch up to us. And as far as petroleum goes, we hit peak production in the 1970s and it's only gone downhill from there, so it's not like we'll have it forever. It's time to start getting on track with better technologies so when we do run out, we'll be ready.

Putting it out there! I'm writing a book (well, 3 books actually, one for each of my children). If I have no luck with a publisher I've decided to self publish them. It's been a dream/goal of mine forever and the kids are loving working on them with me.

Man, I feel awful. I was in line at the pharmacy and they had lost my rx. So they went to find it and it took them forever. Meanwhile, all the people behind me were giving me dirty looks. I always feel like they think it's somehow my fault that the pharmacy screwed up. I really hope those pharmacy techs apologized to the next people in line for their little screw-up.

I love eating dinner when it's already dark, then put on sweats and settle in to watch TV and it's not even 6:00! Makes the evenings seem to last forever. So I like the dark part, just not neccessarily the cold part.

i don't like having sex with my husband when he's drunk. he has difficulty staying hard and takes forever to cum if he even does. he performs a million times better when sober.

So, uh, I drank beer for the first time in forever and remembered why I never do. It makes me pee like crazy. I made my dh pull the car over so I could pee in a church parking lot. Not my finest moment.

I work with a lady who always tells me to cut my hair because I'm 35. She thinks anyone over 30 shouldn't have long hair. Bishhh...no way! My hair is past my boobs and I'm keeping it that way til I'm old and gray. I'm way too lazy to get frequent haircuts and it takes me forever to style it when it's short.
