So...black on black crime isn't really a thing. I don't hear many people say white on white, latino on latino, or asian on asian crime. Statistically speaking, most people are likely to assault their own race. Now, lets pretend that your ridiculous notion of black on black crime (and no other races doing the same thing) does exist. There is a major difference between a civilian murdering someone, and a police officer doing it. When civilians murder people they are tried and jailed. When police officers do it, they get PAID leave and no punishment.

I support police officers. There are bad apples that make the rest look bad, but I truly, honestly believe that the vast majority of police are good people who work very hard to keep the streets safer.

And they wonder why we taking a knee for the national anthem. 13 people have been killed by police since NFL player took a knee couple of weeks ago. (Or seat). So EVERY single incident was justified? And how come they were all black? You mean to tell me only white people comply with cops? Why do white people only see the cop but not his (or hers!) action? When will they (cop) have accountability that they acted out of line?

I mentioned the salaries because I thought you were making a comparison with police and athletes. I wasn't focused on Kaepernick. I said I rolled my eyes at the idea of a rich person whining about America, nowhere near qualifying as outrage. That was even BEFORE I knew the story about the national anthem. Someone told me and I said that I understand now. I hadn't looked into the reasons behind his actions, because I really didn't GAF about his actions in the first place. I wasn't "outraged". I just thought "oh, boo hoo. Another celebrity whining". You're right though. I shouldn't have mentioned it because I didn't know much about it & didn't really care anyway. You can tell me to STFU all you want. I'm not going to say that to you.

Rolling my eyes is being outraged? Hardly. I can tell people whatever I want to. I just did. I am outraged about Brock Turner. I have no idea who the 49er is. I hold police officers to a certain standard too. Yeah, they're paid to do a job. Underpaid. Pro Athletes are grossly overpaid.

Also, you don't get to tell anyone that because we made them rich because they entertained us, they are not allowed to do this or that. We also pay our police officers and they fuck that job up quite a few times, but we can't speak on that apparently! And you have no obligation to pay for a sports ticket, movie tickets, jerseys, or tv channel, you are choosing to make those people rich. I support Colin Kaepernik. I also hold our military and police force to a high regard and respect. But I expect them to act right. Ya'all ain't outraged about Brock Turner though huh? Or the thug 49er Bruce Miller charged with multiple DV felonies. Fucking hypocrites.!

I am very friendly with a young girl (26) at work, where I started about a year ago. In our job, it's common to cover for one another, and she and I do so for each other a lot. She is very calm, level-headed and responsible. Recently, she asked if I would fill out a recommendation for her to get a firearms permit. I sat down with her and talked at length about why she wants a gun and went over gun safety, etc. Then I filled out the form. Well the other day I had nothing to do, so I was catching up on FB, I mean really going to peoples' pages and seeing what they are up to. OMG. I see a whole other side to this girl. She's black, and she's SO angry! I mean really, really angry. She HATES cops, and it seems like she doesn't really like white people too much, either. I'm shocked and can't believe the hateful things I'm reading. I'm kind of regretting filling out that form now. I almost want to go to the police station and talk to them about it. I don't know what to do.

I dated someone unbalanced. After two months of dating he attacked me. I went the hospital and was treated. I went to the police and they wouldn't help me. We were in my car when he assaulted me and they asked me why I didn't run and leave my car with him when he punched me. He stalked me for three months then broke into my apartment. There was a witness and he got jail time and probation. I moved from the city I lived in for thirty years, to a county where I cannot, I hope, be found. I have a very light e-footprint. I live carefully and never let anyone I am not related to into my house. I am a changed person.

Just got a facebook message from a long time friend claiming I testified against her based on what someone said. I have no idea wtf she's talking about. I don't and haven't ever got into trouble so I wouldn't have a reason to talk to the police let alone be at a trial. I think she's doing drugs. Her mom said something awhile back about her being on something. I haven't seen her for awhile so I don't know. But her message really pissed me off. I don't do drugs and never have, so snitching to saving myself wouldn't make sense. Either she's on drugs or lost her mind!

I read that Florida actually makes it easier for journalists to search police records, which is why so many crazy stories come out of there. That stuff happens everywhere. It's just easier to report on it in Florida.
