Pedantic much? The person was bragging because she assumed she had more money than the poster who insulted her weight (who is a thundering class A bitch, absolutely). That is what I was referring to her, her acting as though her life is better than the other poster because she assumed she had more money. As the mean poster has an internet connection, I'm going to assume said person doesn't live under a bridge. Which, ironically, is where the trolls live.

Love the response post anon and that you didn't leave the comments open. 1. I'm 300 now, I've been loosing weight for health reasons. I used to be 360 but all of my scores are healthy because I live a healthy lifestyle and am trying to prevent obesity related issues. Also, I will never be a "healthy BMI" because I'm muscular. When I get measured by the machines that measures your fat percentage, it's always much lower (5-7 percent lower is about my average) than the charts say I should be. 2. I'm actually 6 feet tall, so while I am morbidly obese, it's not like I'm going to die any minute. 3. If you're 250 and not proud of it, work on it. Don't be a royal B to people who are accepting of their bodies. I'm always going to be a "big girl." I've accepted it. 4. The fat movement is so that I don't have to be worried about being treated like shit every day because I happen to be heavy. As someone who is heavy you should be happy people are fighting for YOU.

Anyone else see the Louie episode "So Did the Fat Lady?" I have mixed feelings on it. On the one hand I think it did a good job of showing the double standards a lot of old, average-looking guys have. On the other I thought it was a little demeaning that they made the confident overweight lady so desperately into this bald, also-overweight, 40-something, divorced guy that was not into her. I don't know any woman comfortable in her own skin who would chase after such a mediocre guy to the point of embarassing herself.

If you are shallow enough that a partner makes you happy solely because they look good, and you think money makes your life better than others, I pity you. And not because of your weight.

I'm 30 lbs overweight and I guarantee you my partner is hotter than yours and I probably make more money. Your tears of rage are delicious.

I'm obese and I get so tired of people saying "I'm obese but healthy!". Just because your blood work and cholesterol and BP are fine now doesn't mean they will be for long. Mine are all fine but I know damn well I'm not healthy. And I get being comfortable with your body but I don't understand this whole fat pride movement. You're really proud that you have to shop at specialty stores and pay $50 for one t-shirt? You're really proud they have to use the bigger BP cuff to take your BP? You're really proud you can't fit into the "normal" size wheelchair? You're really proud you barely fit into that ride at the amusement park? Yes you can be *overweight* and healthy. But 300 pounds is not healthy. Quit trying to kid yourself. If we don't lose weight now, we are gonna have a zillion more problems as we get older and older. And no, I'm not a troll. I'm 250 pounds and NOT PROUD OF IT.

My SIL and her husband are moving to Europe. I am really jealous. She is 30 pounds overweight! She doesn't deserve to go! She already lost 70 pounds but I can't imagine her fat a** in Paris.

I've really been beating myself up about this whole weight loss thing. I keep telling myself that I know I can try harder--that I can do better. I can push myself more. I never feel satisfied with what I do everyday. I really need to learn how to give myself a pat on the back sometimes.

I still haven't smoked! Quit date: 04/20/14! I am five pounds heavier than I'm used to, though, and I'm having a real problem losing it and it's really hard for me to accept. I am not overweight. Five extra pounds puts me at 130lbs. At 5'6", I think that's probably average. But it's still really unpleasant. Five stupid pounds. But I just try to focus on the not smoking piece of it. And who's to say that one thing has anything to do with the other anyway? Maybe it's because I'm turning 40 that these five pounds have attached themselves to my belly!
