Call this my flounce post. You lack empathy. I understand your point of view a lot of the time, but it's because I make an extra effort to think about things from your point of view. I don't see you do that. If someone isn't doing expressly what you think they should be, you treat them like total dirt. For some reason, you don't think it's OK to sometimes do things for others unless it's convenient for you. Does it matter? Not really. You're some random person on the internet. I've been here/truu for probably 4 years I think. There's always that one response that makes me question why I subject myself to abuse from people I don't know in an effort to find a friendly ear. This time, and for a long time, that response has been from you. I wish you well, but I hope nobody else is stupid enough to give you posts to comment on And further abuse others. *bye CCC* admin: please block my ip/delete my username.

I have an easy admin position open that would take 4 hours week and include free fitness classes. I mentioned it to my unemployed friend and she said she would love to talk more about it. She has an email with all the info and hasn't given me a answer. I hope she's not trying to be nice when she really isn't interested at all.

Admin: The "Response to Confession" feature is a good idea EXCEPT we don't know which confession it's in response to. I've been trying to figure out some of the responses and had to chuckle at a post that responded, "It never is" and you yourself commented, "What never is?" See what I mean ? ;)

Every time I post something without logging in and it doesn't show, I always wonder if the admin is just busy or if it really was that bad of a confession. #paranoid #wasitsomethingisaid

My son used Adderall for his ADD in 4th grade and while his academics improved, he didn't like the meds. He didn't like feeling like he did. He said he would go without and do the work himself to get him into gear. He really did try and worked hard, his academics declined just a little bit, but it still was better than when we started. He's a teen now and he's doing great. He's really got to know his body and mind and doesn't like to use even Tylenol. He eats almost clean and loves the gym. Sometimes I get a call that he's talking too much, but his grades are pretty good, so I know he's trying. To the op: I hope your son improves w/ or w/out meds. It's such a challenging issue to handle. We were lucky to have great teachers and admin staff to help us and I hope you have the same too.

Women consign themselves to unequal pay when they educate themselves only for lower echelon jobs. Don't be an administrative assistant. Don't be a dental hygienist. Don't clean bathrooms. There is nothing wrong with those jobs. We need people to do them and we appreciate them. If you're looking for equal pay be a real estate agent. A lawyer. An accountant. Own your own business. Women shoot themselves in the foot by aiming low.

A college professor friend says that the college students doing the protesting are clearly in the humanities and it's the humanities admin and profs that are encouraging and allowing this to go on. He says that you won't see that happening with students in the sciences. He is a chemistry professor. He's clearly disgusted with the whole thing (35 years teaching college-level science).
