I live in the deep south and guess what, I'm not Christian, don't fly the Confederate flag and don't use the n-word. And guess what, neither does anyone else I know.

I like visiting the south, but I couldn't live there. I'm not a Christian for one thing and I also can not physically say the n word. I've literally never said that word. If I hear people say it I politely say I don't think it's appropriate and I would prefer if the sayer doesn't say it in front of me. I'm a liberal progressive feminist that abhors the Confederate flag and what it stands for.

Trump is such an opportunistic phony. I read he was at Liberty University today touting how he was going to defend Christian values. I had no idea being capitalist shark was a Christian value. On second thought....

I know many Republicans who are Jewish, many who never go to church. I know a Muslim and several Buddhists who are Republicans. Also a lot of atheists. They are Republicans because they don't like the direction of the Democrat party. They believe people should look to themselves for their own provision, not the government. Abortion and "Christian" values have nothing to do with their decision to vote the way they do.

That is what I don't understand about the Republicans--how the heck did they get so aligned with Christian values? They do absolutely everything exactly the opposite of what Jesus did. Of course there was no abortion laws/whatever back when Jesus lived, but that seems to be how they snooker Christians into voting for them. My ILs are strict Lutherans and they aren't financially well off, so it makes zero sense for them to vote Republican, yet they do it anyway. Because Republicans don't kill babies. Ppppbbbt. That argument is getting so old.

All the people on the Right are always crying that America is a Christian nation and we should go on Christian values. That's fine and dandy but they support Trump! The worse "Christian" man there is. At least the others actually have knowledge and/or experience/relationship with Christianity. Trump doesn't know anything from a book except a checkbook. That's all he's about.

Wow. That is so incredibly Islamophobic. Last time I checked American Muslims really don't need to seek out information about Christians because hello, their "wonderfulness" is crammed down their throats every second of every day. The vast vast vast majority of Muslims are peaceful non-jihadists. I can't attest to their wonderfulness.

Today on my AOL news feed: "11 Must Read Books By Muslim Authors." Must we constantly have (good kind wonderful peaceful terrific non-jihadist) Muslims crammed down our throats? I lived on the same block with Muslims. I don't care about their culture. They didn't care about mine. We were all good kind wonderful peaceful and terrific. But I'm not buying books about them and their wonderfulness. I doubt if they're buying books to better understand Christians and Buddhists and Jews either.

My dad told me that when he was young (less than 10 I think), he had to feed all the animals on the farm. He told me that he killed one of the cats, and thought "that's one less mouth to feed." I was horrified. Told him not to tell people that story. He's not a psychopath though - just a good Christian man. Never did anything that you might imagine might fit a person who could kill an animal with no regrets.

What is defined as a hate agenda? Hating an ethnic group (if allowed to call it an ethnic group) and trying to hurt that group is hate. But is protecting your country from hordes of people whose agenda is hate against you, is not hate. It's just common sense. Look up the Muslim/Christian group that left from (I think) Africa in a boat to escape their country and by the time they were rescued, the Muslims had thrown all 14 Christians overboard. You think they're going to leave that attitude behind? Reported in the Wall St. Journal, known for accurate reporting.
