My cousin posts pictures on facebook of beautiful buildings in her city and captions it, "God is so good!"..... *blink*..... And I'm thinking... meanwhile the architect and the tradesmen that actually made that happen are over here like, "Fuck me, right?" *smdh*

I am sooooo glad I did the 10k! I ran into several friends (including those who posted on facebook), and I got my picture in the local paper! The caption said "This girl has all the energy", and shows me rocking out next to the band near the finish line. To think I was feeling old and decrepit the day before! It really helps to see yourself through the eyes of others.

I logged onto facebook to write a long note about how I'm disappointed in myself because I'm not running my usual annual 1/2 marathon tomorrow. I've had too much going on lately to train, so to be safe I'm only doing the 10k. Which makes me feel like I have passed my prime. But before I can post, I see is a post from a friend saying how awesome she feels because she is going to do the 10k, and how far it is but she knows she can tough it out, and how this proves she isn't too old for anything. And her friend responds that she is also doing the 10k for the first time, and how hard it is but they are proving that 30 isn't over the hill. I really needed those reminders that what I'm doing is still pretty kickass. I feel a lot better now. And since people nearly 2 decades younger than me are feeling a bit old, I guess I'm in good company!

We gave our DGD $200 for house sitting for us. She'd been telling me for weeks that her rent was overdue. Today on Facebook she posted a pic of her new tattoo. I may be old, but I learned my lesson!

Carnations are my favorite! They always have been. I'll take them! My new boyfriend had carnations delivered to my new job in July. Soon to be ex dh saw on Facebook and said, "I was thinking about having flowers delivered to your work, but I didn't know the address." One of the many reasons we're divorcing.

So we told her about the Facebook profiles, and showed her. She asked him about it an he denied it but then only one of the profiles was deleted about a half hour later. The other one is still up showing hes in relationship with kids' mother. She told him the profile is still up, he said it dosent matter they are old profiles that he dosent use and he's not with her. Then, he left an angry message on her voicemail telling her she is stupid , etc, she is to think they are back together just because of facebook. He accused her of cheating on him, and then more insults and that she made him mad. He went on for almost 5 minutes until her voicemail cut him off. She is scared now.

We have all thought my sisters boyfriend was shady. She notice that he disappeared from her Facebook profile, along with their relationship listed on it. He told he deleted Facebook completely. We found not one but TWO other Facebooks under fake names. Both listed him in a relationship with his kids' mother.She has 2 profiles too. Yes we are sure its him. We havent told her yet.

OMG! I was sitting at lunch today with some friends and got a text. I didn't actually open it; the first sentence just showed up on my phone. It said 'I like your shirt.' I panicked a little (there have been four abduction attempts here lately and women are a bit on edge), started looking around the restaurant to see who was stalking me, and told my friends about the scary text. Then a friend picked up my phone and read the rest. Another friend was commenting on the tshirt I posted on Facebook. Feeling silly!

I know a girl on Facebook (she's not my friend but she's a friend's friend) and she carries on about Trump being the best choice "biblically" which is appalling. But a lot of people believe it. She trashes Obama as "biblically hostile" due to his support of the LGBT community. So it's not just racism, it's the Kool-aid drinkin' bible-thumpin' evangelicals who seriously believe a bunch of dusty old words written by uneducated old men somehow trump the rights of human beings who just want to walk around without getting spat on or treated like garbage.

Yesterday he took his name off of our "in a relationship" status on Facebook. This was after a texted conversation about our relationship in which he said "you can always breakup with me" I asked him if thats what he wants and he said "no but its obvious that you are not happy with me" I texted him back that I want him to act like he wants to be with me, show interest in whats going on with me,and that I think hes not happy with me He never answered that text. just changed his Facebook status. I am both sad and relieved at the same time. I just hope I don't give in if he asks to see me again, or says he changed the Facebook by mistake or someone got his password or something.
