I appreciate people who have a desire to learn about different things. I do like to be on Google a lot when I have questions about different people, places, cultures, things etc. I know that it isn't always the best place to get information, but I can find a lot of interesting topics to discuss with people.

Nope, not going to have sex with H. Why should I, when he said all those terrible things and has yet to apologise, take it back, or at least explain it? So kissing up to Me just to get off isn't going to work. I have no desire to have sex with a man who cares about me only because I look the part.

It Is Still Abuse If . . . *There has not been any physical violence. Many women are emotionally and verbally assaulted. This can be as equally frightening and is often more confusing to try to understand. Abusers often go from verbal to physical abuse. *His physical abuse seems minor when compared to those you have read about, seen on television or heard other women talk about. There's no “better” or “worse” form of physical abuse. For example, you can be severely injured as a result of being pushed. *The incidents of physical abuse have only occurred one or two times in the relationship. If he's injured you once, it is likely he will continue to physically assault you. *The physical or verbal assaults stopped when you became passive and gave up your right to express yourself as you desire, to move about freely and see others, and to make decisions. You shouldn't have to give up your rights as a person and a partner in exchange for not being assaulted. I was an abused wife and give you this advice from my heart.

If I could change some things about myself... I would be a morning person, not hyper but filled with natural energy and a desire to get started early and take on the day. Not a procrastinator, and more adventurous. I've tried to change, but I'm convinced now either you're born this way or you're not.

OP who knows who my "one" is, and has no desire to be with anyone else. Through out my life, I've dated many guys. Quite a few were for years, was engaged twice but I broke them off because it didn't feel right,I even had a child and married the father. I loved my xH, but I wasn't in love with him. After my marriage ended, I dated. Then one day, I took a chance on going on a date with a guy who had no picture on his dating profile. Something told me to give it a try. From the day we met in person, we both knew this was something amazing. He never introduced any woman to his family, ever. Within 2 weeks, I met his whole family. We spent a year and a half knowing we were each others "one". Bad things are keeping us apart right now,it is possible some day we can be together again. I know I would be able to love again...but there is a difference in loving someone, and knowing who your "one" is. My parents and my uncle didn't lead sad lives, they were all quite happy. Just because we're not with someone, doesn't mean we're not happy. I'm leading a happy life in other aspects. No one should depend on being with someone else in order to be happy. Occasionally I am able to communicate with my "one", but we're not emotionally dependent on each other.

Yes, I personally found it creepy and gross as hell and I highly highly doubt he has ever had a close female friend, at least not one who doesn't now look at him sideways. Why does my opinion bother you? Are you GRRM? Because if so, I have no trouble saying to your face that I find you creepy and your writing style leaves much to be desired. I'm sure mine is not the only criticism that you've ever received and frankly, I'm sure you'll cry all the way to the bank.

DH meets almost none of my needs. We chat a lot and that's about it. Otherwise, no sex, no real consideration, no romance. Just a nice person to hang out with once I've done everything that needs to be done in the house and put the kid to bed. I still love him and he's never mean to me. I have no desire to leave him. That's the part I find weird. I'm occasionally resentful, but most of the time the best part of my day is seeing him and I love our conversations. I'm pretty happy.

I feel like my husband is going through an identity crisis right now. He is one thing that he really can't get out of, but he wants to buy the new Occulus Rift kit and program something for it. Neither of us can do 3D mods and I don't feel like I have the time or desire to learn. I do like that he tries all types of things though. He feels like he can still do anything he wants. It is interesting.

Half a sandwich and a bowl of cereal is a lot of food IMO and enough to make some people feel full. I know that would keep me happy for a long time. Not all of us have the desire to stuff ourselves silly at every meal even though such behavior is encouraged and seen as empowering or whatever justification passes these days as an excuse to be a pig. Sandwiches can also have lots of fatty high calorie stuff like mayonnaise or cheese so it's possible to get tons of calories from even just half of one.

Every night I cook my family dinner and by the time dinner is done, I have no desire to eat it. Last night I made chicken and dumplings and I ate a PBJ sandwich. Tonight I made pork chops with country gravy and all I want is Ramen noodles!
