Why is it so many tattoo artists seem to have an attitude? Every time I have got or attempted to get a tattoo, I am always met with some kind of attitude. Its not that I am impossible to please or anything. I actually treat them extra nice because, well hey, they are going to be inking something on my skin that will last forever. So I don't want to be mean to them. Don't get me wrong, I am sure there are plenty of nice artists that have wonderful relationships with their clients, I am guess I am just unlucky in that department? I just want to find an artist that actually acts happy to work with me...

Tomorrow is the three month anniversary of putting my 12 and a half year old dog down. She was my first dog and the reason I'm a dog person. I miss her a lot. Cry. Just a dog I know but I'll never be the same. Feels like forever ago but it's like she's still across the room from me or just right beside me.

Growing up we walked everywhere too. Everything was within walking distance, except the mall. We usually took the bus to the mall. On night we missed the last bus, so I called my dad to come get us. We told him we were at the food court doors. We waited forever, called him again and he said we're on our own because he drove all around the mall and didn't see us and he's not coming back. Here we were, 3 15yr olds, walking home after 11pm. We probably wouldn't have been home until 3-4am if some old lady didn't see us walking down the road and picked us up. I would never leave my daughter to walk home that late at night.

I had no idea finding your dream forever home would cause so much anxiety. We're going to look at what I think is "the one" this weekend and my heart is basically in my throat over this house. It just listed and the location and layout are PERFECT. I am super paranoid we could be beat out. I already told DH if there is anything cosmetic (shitty paint, terrible stained carpet) I don't care, we are going in at full price. Please send your good juju to us.

Be loved. But that shit better be unconditional and forever. And he is rich, handsome, and kind...and only had eyes for me.

DH is about to have an unexpected week off from work. We have a boatload of house projects to finish that take two people, that he's put off forever. And now it's going to be 95+ every day. And of course now he wants to do them. GRRRRR

I'm not going to omg you. (In fact, I faved you.) I was in a similar situation except the mom was on the other side of town so she could show us all the things she used DH's money on, then cried poor when it came time to buy the kid new school clothes etc so we footed the bill for that too. We took the high road, like you are, and met the obligation. And we were abso-effin'-lutely thrilled when it was all over. Don't let the sanctimonious "you knew what you were getting into" comments grind you down. It's okay to not be thrilled with the situation. It's not forever - the end is in sight. Good luck to you both.

I work in a hospital and the other day my CW was going on and on about how scary the "psych ward" was because the patients were bouncing off the wall in the padded rooms and screaming and going nuts. She made some comments about how they all needed lobotomies and shock treatments so they'd "calm down forever". I calmly mentioned that my DH is bipolar and has never really needed a padded room or a lobotomy. She looked really shocked and finally shut her stupid mouth. I don't always love that my DH is bipolar either, but it makes me so angry when ignorant people start spouting their mouths off about what they think mental illness is like.

Searching for our "forever" home has to be the most frustrating experience ever. We think we've found "the one" and then see it and there is always something weird in the layout that wasn't disclosed. Or it has an insanely high HOA ($900 a year for only a pool? NO.) It's sp discouraging!!
